oh it's definitely out the center pin ... without a doubt...I never refill mounted on a mod and its already with ggts base so I can clearly see that it is out the center pin...
let me ask this, those that have NO Leaking upon refill, are you using the universal mouthpiece or the gg mouthpiece?
I use a gg MP. One trick I learned with gg attys is to close MP and vape it till dry first before refilling. Any liquid pushed to the channels by the pressure of closing topcap is absorbed by the dry wick.

Thanks for the link. I just finished watching the video and it looks like the stealth cap has changed. The ones I were familiar with were rounded at the top. It looks like the one imeo has in the video is a flat top design. I really like it, gives it a much cleaner look with an atty like the ithika on it. Now, all I need to know is where to get one or if the new stealths will be shipped with the new cap. :)

Jo, I haven't noticed whether it's refill only because I just started trying to fill beyond the top tube. I just did a new build on another Ithaka, filled it completely, screwed the top cap one turn then turned whole thing upside down to finish screwing top. With BF closed I barely had a gurgle. I'll let you know about the refill.
A bunch of awesome tips guys!

yeah and its not on the first build/fill...where I have the BF, it is just fine for the initial build because it's actually borderline dry vape...I don't know if it takes a little while for the wick to get up to full absorption or what the issue is but each tank gets wetter and wetter vape.

my first build, I have to keep the mouthpiece wide open to get enough liquid on the coil when I vape everything out of the tank, and I mean every drop can be vaped out, I close the mouthpiece and vape a couple more vapes and then refill...that's when it drips for a bit and gurgles until it evens out. Next fill is even wetter. I love the ithaka...I wouldn't trade it for the world and it is still soooo much better of a design than the iatty...I haven't used the iatty since getting the ithaka, im just trying to get it to where it doesn't drip and gurgle after the fills.

Thats strange my dear jojo because I dont have even a drop loosing on reffiling. And it doesnt gurgle too. So I will make a video about it now.
I just refilled and nothing happened. So I will empty my Ithaka on a video and I will refill it. And if for some reason I have a gurgling, I will bump it and thats it.:)
Grabeard that isn't the problem... Imeo, thanks for the video but the issues of the leaks are not on the initial build. The leaks are on the refill. I never have any leaks on the initial build and fill. My leaks come when I want to refill my Ithaka after vaping thru a tank. I open the top cap and then the larger cap...no leaks...I then refill the tank up to the large cap and then slowly put the large cap back on. Still no leaks. Then I go to put the small top cap on ever so slowly not to disrupt the pressure and no matter how slow i put it on, I still end up with drip drip drip etc.... It will eventually stop dripping but it does lose some liquid. then gurgle gurgle upon vaping for a while. Next fill of the tank is slightly worse than the previous.
Please understand, this is never an issue for me on the initial build and fill of the ithaka.
This is not a build issue or lack of knowledge on how to build the ithaka as some might suspect.

I will pl. But until then please buy an o-ring like this from a local store:)
I just took apart and washed my Ithaka and... lost that #%&# micro o-ring! :-/
I think it "glued" to my finger when I took it out of the white basin where I washed everything and went down the sink when I washed my hands afterwards

Imeo, *please*: ship a couple extra ones of those with every Ithaka! :-(
(even if it's too late for me)

yes, that too sch. Thats why I am telling people to screw as hard as they can the rebuildable part
I don't know if this will help but I'll throw it out there. If you over tighten the mouth piece too much when using Ithaka and you don't have the center post tight enough, it can come loose with just the action of unscrewing it to get more juice to the wicks. I have had this happen and I just used pliers on the center post when I rebuilt it and all was well. Don't be afraid to crank down on the center post with the pliers, I haven't broken one from over tightening yet! I can tell if I got it tight enough the next time it comes apart and the post hasn't come loose after I unscrew the ceramic housing.

dont use pluid icig my friend, it will destroy the clear tank
Imeo can I ask you.

I use two juices menthol and pluid. Do you have any idea if the radiator pluid will affect the clear
Tank section on the ithika? I know it has been known to crack some plastic tanks.

Thanks

yes, it will cloud. Also this mouthpiece will allow you to refill Ody by opening only its small top cap. Check this video

Oh wow, just watched that new vid. Must have Adjustable mouth piece, new stealth cap and extra tops... Will the adjustable mouth piece fit on Ody V2 also?
