Mine doesnt leak if I have basic feeding open Jiv. Maybe your wick is thin? I put 2,5mm wick on Ithaka and it works as it has to work. But if you have gurgling on refilling while BF is open, then you can put out the liquid that cause the gurgling by doing this simple thing

Thanks Imeo, is there a way to do it with the basic feeding open? Maybe by turning it upside down and unscrewing the entire tank?

ask for a new one Strat. Its free of charge for now:)
I apologize if this has already been answered, but did the latest batch ship with this new, smaller nut installed? Or was it supposed to come with the Ithaka? If so I either lost it in unpacking the atty or it didn't make it into my package.

If you find it then put it on Ithaka Adam. It vapes even better with this nut
No, the smaller nut comes packaged in a separate plastic bag. I had forgotten about this smaller nut and had almost thrown it away. Luckily, I noticed the extra bag when picking up all my vapemail debris.

nut needs to be smaller, so you have to cut it cook. So if its total height goes to 3mm then you will be ok. And you always leave it in open position so liquid cant refeed the wicks on small tank
Hi Imeo, is there any way I can modify this top nut without using the machine?
It might be more convenient this way if it's possible compare to asking your seller for new one :).

Imeo does the new but leaves the small tank openings open? Are you sure these being open don't cause gurgling?because bishop video shows putting an oring to seal the openings and no more gurgling.

my experience is totally different aal. Gurgling is caused because center post is near wicks and drops of liquid reach it easily and overflooding is caused because liquid raise inside ceramic and reach the center post. Holes on ceramic leave liquid to escape on small tank and refeed wicks so we dont have overflooding and short nut cant be reached by liquid so we dont have gurgling.

Bish dont have the small nut to see the difference. When he will have it in his hands he will change his opinion

Mine didn't come with the extra nut from COV. I guess I can use the Bishop fix and should be OK.

That is not guaranteed. I suggest you ask your seller to send you the nuts. I told vassilis explicitly to send me these nuts and he did. Great guy.

So I know it took me forever to finally get this video done, but I did get it done, and I think whoever watches it will enjoy the ending!! Thank you Imeo, and next time, I promise I will not take so long!! But I did get to really experience the Ithaka to it's fullest, and I really think that any review should be done that way, and not the day they get it in the mail!! Enjoy!!

Great review !

Just a small observation, the center post top nut is upside down, the notches on the top nut are to open or close the excess liquid feature (ceramic has two inner slots at bottom, when the ceramic slots and top nut notches match, excess liquid featre is active).

The top nut has a cut at the top of it, so you can use a screwdriver to screw / unscrew / tighten it.

You will find it is easier to screw the basic feeding, starting from the top of the ceramic housing.

Just to make sure, are you guys referring to the Center Post Top Nut? And how do we know if the one fitted in the Ithaka (mine was a pre-order from late May/2013) is the shorter or the longer one?
