I ran my Ithaka for a couple of months with the old nut and recently changed to the new one. I prefer the new one, but just because the gurgling made me think it was flooding (when it wasn't) It really is just a personal preference, so you could run the original until your first rebuild and try the new nut for the next and see what you prefer.

Is there a site you guys buy spare o-rings from online? Or do you guys just get them from local hardware stores (are they just neoprene)? CoV is always out of the Ithaka o-rings, so I figured if there is a site somewhere I can buy a couple sets of o-rings for GGTS, Ithaka, Ody and Penny myself.

Here is where I get my o-rings. McMaster-Carr

You have to buy in lots of 50 or 100, but you will never be out again. :) Prices are reasonable if you get enough to justify the shipping.

I used this post to figure out which ones I needed. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/196089-gg-series-o-rings-guide.html

Also, one thing to keep in mind. Imeo posts o-ring sizes with ID first, then thickmess. US standards are backwards and post thickness first. e.i. a 9 X 2.5mm on Imeo's post will be a 2.5mm X 9mm on McMaster.

Almost forgot, I usually get the Buna-N material.

Shoot me a PM and I will see if I have spares in the ones you are looking for.

Thanks, yeah, I love Vasillis and have ordered many things from there before, I just don't want to spend money on shipping a few o-rings from Greece to the USA.
It's not a huge deal, I'm not in dire need of o-rings right now, but definitely want to stock up soon! I was hoping there would be a site I could pick and choose a whole bunch of o-rings with no minimum order.. perhaps not, though.

I got my Ody and I was done. Then I got my GGTS and I was really done. Then I had to get a Penny, but that was it. Wait wait wait I need a brass Stealth, but really I'm done. Then I won an Ithaka thanks to Imeos contest.. But was I done? Of course not, I had to get another Ithaka! But really that's it for me. Oh wait, Just GG preorder? Ok I'll get it, but now I'm done!
Surely I won't buy any more GG items right? Haha... Right guys? ....guys?

And really my small collection is nothing compared to a lot of you guys!

I just signed up at COV to get notified when they have them in stock. Within a few days I had my notice. Have to pay attention to your email though cause they sell out fast. They also sent me another spare center nut with the o rings as well. Not sure they were supposed to but hey I'll take it.

Is there a site that actually has ready wire in stock or will I need to resort to watching bish's video a few dozen times & build them myself?

Just make them yourself. It's not that difficult. Then you can tailor them to your liking. And save money. I'd say on average it takes about 2 or 3 minutes to cut the wire, size it up and wrap them together.

If it does leak, the center post won't solve it.You have some issue with your build.Where it leaks from? From inside of the center post, or from the rebuildable part housing? If you use 510 base part, you should be able to tell -if there is liquid inside this base, it's the second case.

Hey Pillow, thanks for your reply. Well, I made the coil with the silica and ready wire that came with the Ithaka. Fairly straight forward build. Single coil diagonally placed, basic feeding closed and tightened everything down well. Also tightened the top 2 pieces separately with the top nut screwed on very slowly to not cause pressure on the tank. Now in hindsight, I think a went around the pos and neg posts more than just once. That could be the cause of my leaking through the 510/GG connector. I'm using it without the adjustable airflow or 510 base attached straight on my MKB ts as I've lent my GG ts to a friend. With juice control closed, I took a few drags without firing to prime the wick then opened juice control up just enough to where I could see the wick(maybe ~3mm). Fine for a few minutes. Put the devise down(upright) for 10 mins and come back to have a vape and I have major gurgling. I close juice control and gurgling doesn't improve even after 5 mins of vaping. I unscrew the Ithaka from the MKB and there's a ton of juice on the connector and pooled in the collector. I attempted to blow the juice out if the bottom to clear it out but it just kept coming and didn't clear up indicating there's a constant leak..not just a monetary leak. So i cleaned off all the juice and kept juice control closed for a few days...only to come back, unscrew the Ithaka to check for leaking e liquid and find another pool of juice in the collector tank. Granted this was my first build with it, I'm no novice to rebuildables and the build seems very straight forward and quite simple so I'm not sure what's going on. Then I googled "Ithaka leaking" or "Ithaka gurgling" and was surprised to find that its extremely common and there were tons of threads about it...with many claiming that the new center post would solve the problem.
