Really enjoyed the video. I was a beginning machinist many years ago and have regretted more than once not making a career out of it. Of course we did it all 'by hand' back then so it was much slower but more personal I think. The days before CNC took over the world of machining. I would love to spend a day getting dirty with metal lathe again. Thanks for rekindling the memories.
No, I asked that before and Imeo said the Oddy mouthpiece was not deep enough. I guess that meant the female threaded portion would not screw down far enough on the rebuildable part. All hope is not lost though, he was thinking about making changes, we'll have to wait and see what he decided to do.
maybe if imeo did manufacture extra mouth peace (ody like) to be sold as accessories for the Ithaka that would be nice
Yes, it would be good for everyone to have both options, for what they like best.
Imeo, I don't know if you were thinking of making a tip to go on Ithakas' mouthpiece stem, but if you do consider it, it would be nice for it to be the same as Iattys mouthpiece. It's the most compfortable of all the tips I've tried.
An Iatty mouthpiece with the internals of UFS mouthpiece would the ideal combination bacc, and yes I have thought about that.
Just finish watching Ithaka video. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! Better save up my money ready for it

There are a few options.
Others will chime in with what they used
Obviously, you have GG base for Ody or iAtty
Use a 510/901 rethreader and a 901-510 adapter. Remove the adjustable draw cap and you can use any 510 atty.
You can keep the cap, and use a short 510-510 and a long 510-510 adapter. Then again, any 510 atty
I am pretty eagerly awaiting the Ithaka -- it seems like it's got the best elements of all of the previous feeding systems!
Hi all... I agree that Ithaka looks AWSOME but would really love to get an idea of when and how we will be able to order one...? I'm sure I speak for most when I say that I would hate to miss out on ordering one of these beauties!!! Is there some sort of GG production schedule somewhere that we can refer to to check in on the time frames / release dates??? If not, can one be created so that we'll have an ETA on new and / or existing GG product release dates??? Many thanks in advance for any responses!!!
I think Imeo is still trying to decide what he will make next but since the most recent advance order has ended I would bet that a new advance order will begin soon. So check on the GG forum for Imeo's announcement about once a week or more. The advance orders usually last about 4 weeks.

In a PM from Imeo (end of Oct) he told me that after this latest run of pre orders, that he will do Achilles, Odysseus then Proteus. After that will be Ithaca.
Now he has the right to change his mind!
And I also do believe it will be the one last run of Ody. So stock pile ceramics for the future!

Oh I do think Imeo will still make parts for Odysseus v2 and v1 IAtty, just not the complete unit, I do need a few extra ceramics for my Ody and maybe get the expantion kit,that would be the awesome. I wil l get another Odysseus for sure in the last run. Then the Ithaka will be my next. I know it's never going to stop !!!! buy more GG stuff , on and on and on...ect....lol.
The 1st Ody release was a frenzy. 300 frazzled GG junky's bombarding COV to smitherines, over and over and reporting every effort as they went after the Ody and its expansion promised to follow, which it did later, but never to be seen again.
Personally the expansion set up is the best Ody ever, only the best from Imeo.
I'm hoping the Ithaka drip tip mouthpiece will create an opportunity to stack tanks for greater volume and the GG mouthpiece can be lengthened by simply adding a longer drip tip.
What ever Imeo decides is fine. I thought the Iatty was the best and couldn't be beat until the Ody came along. The Ithaka seems a little more complicated, has more parts and offers further adjustments, it should be another home run.

I like this Ithaka !! I'm in for it !! .... Two Q I have .... If its usable without the drip tip ? " i like the ODDY tip or if it's possible for an iatty style drip tip but with option for getting a liquid controller ..cos I'm not keen for that drip tip ... ... Or am I missing something " in that case ascuse me , just simple interest .
