Is it possible to use Ithaka on GGTS with rethreader ring, collector tank and 18350 battery (without telescope)?
Since Ithaka's center post is longer then the Odysseus's, I'm having this concern.
Thank's in advance!
Was the friend that received it in US?
better yet, did said friend buy it from COV?
I am assuming you are talking about The Zapper from Juice Kitchen UK. Here is an excerpt from the description.
"There are no settings to change voltage/charge, the way it works is the longer you hold the button the more charge is created, depending on what wires you use will determine how much charge is needed."
Try changing the length of time you hold the charge button. If you have a decent multi-meter you can measure it that way. Thats about all I can say.
COV has added employees to help assemble and ship our orders faster. Great to hear I think.
How do you know this and if you know this do you know if COV has received it's order from GG yet.
Hey guys,
We appreciate the patience.
We did/do still have to assemble all of the Ithakas. We are working on processing orders this week.
We received them into us late last week and we have even hired several additional people to help bang all this out ASAP.
We know you want your gear, we want to get you your gear!
If you wish to PM me with your order number or order info I can help resolve any worries you may have.
Beleive me when I say we have been bustin it to try and get these out for ya all
Thanks guys!
I have been experimenting with micro coils with the idea of using them in Ithaka, where it an example of a really well done one, it is not mine. The long legs do not glow red with this type of coil. Note the coil is being placed as close to the air hole as possible.

The two bottom pictures are of mine, I have since brought the coil outward some from the center post as there was enough wire under the screw to do so.

Mine is 1.1 ohms with 28 gauge Kanthal, there no hesitation on the warm up, it's very responsive.
This worked quire well but i will do better next time.

@ jkim5708, In the first picture, which is not mine, it is rolled cotton, I believe.
In the second one it's Peach's and Cream cotton yarn from Walmart and in the third picture it's cheese cloth.
I would have to say the yarn but only because it's easier to work with.Which do u prefer...cotton or cheese.
