Mouthpiece cant move when you vape with it Ali. The only way you can move it is to push it right and left with your fingers. And even if you push it that way, the movement is so small that you cant really feel it. Of course it comes to the right position immediately after you stop moving it.

If you cant pull it out, you can use a paper towel. But if you want to make it more stable and harder to be pushed accidentally then you can put one more o-ring on it
Hi imeo. I received my telescopic mouthpiece today, but when you extend it, it is not stable, and it moves from side to side, and also it can be accidentally pushed in and it is difficult to pull it out. how can I make it more solid and stable?

The were a little short but now they are 0,5cm per side longer levis. As for the resistance, better use the 1,5 ohms
Quick question before I order the ready wires, what resistance should i choose? I plan on building both single and dual coil. Also there is a comment that they are a little short, have either of you experienced this?

I'd like to be around 1-1.4ohms for both builds

All positions are stable when mouthpiece works inside Ithaka aal
Imeo, question regarding telescopic mouthpiece, is it supposed to stay up for any height? Because I realized it is most stable when you put it either the longest, the shorted, or the height of the Ithaka mouthpiece. Is anything in between OK?

hi guys, a quick question.
i ve been vaping on the ithaka since a while now. but i have a problem.
some flavours give a very harsh burnt taste, while others dont.
maybe i have been making the coil wrong sometimes, hence the burnt taste.
coils were all consistently 1.5ohms. and voltage is 4volts everytime. the wicks i cut just above the oring. n basic feeding is always closed.
can some one point out wat i may be doing wrong or is it just the liquids.
at a lower voltage i just dont get the same satisfaction, actually at even lower voltage it still burns....
ne advice is appreciated, thanks a lot

Maybe you move the mouthpiece 2-3 times in a row while you vape Ali? This will have the result that mouthpiece works like a bumb and raise liquid very high. It was an option that I wanted to put on my video but then I realised that liquid was coming up so I never mention it

So I got my new Ithaka in the mail and I'm cleaning it now.. my ceramic is stuck, though, I'd like to torch the ceramic and clean the housing (I know I probably don't have to) - is there a way to get it out without breaking it? I put it in my freezer for a bit but that didn't seem to help. I do have spare ceramics but I'd rather not waste one :)

Maybe I just won't torch the ceramic or clean the housing.. but it will need to come out eventually!

If the cotton is burnt then no way back. Try again with silica and let us know if you have the same problem. Maybe problem in wicking.
i ve tried silica also.
the things is tht its always the same with the juice.
i mean any juice which gives off a burnt taste will always stay tht way. i ve tried different wicks with the same juice, n its still burnt.
while other juices are just fine

When you have the burnt taste, is the coil already gunked up? it is either that or you have a wicking issue, try to make thinner silica in the channels (cut few strands) or start off with half open mouthpiece to full open.

Gdawg,
Are you using a single or a dual coil? Maybe try a single coil. Take 2 wicks, 1 in each channel, with 1 coil wrapped around both. That should double the wicking at the coil.
Or use a slightly loser coil around the wick, by using a thin piece of wire to help keep a bit of a gap while wrapping your coil, pull it out when the coil is done, before putting it in your device.
This is my favorite set up, 3 mm wick in an x, 1 coil, @ 1 ohm. Some juices wick better than others, but the adjustable MP makes a big difference to accommodate these variations.
And one last thing, the tank occasionally gets a vacuum type lock that can be released by loosening the top nut until it looses its seal. This can be checked by dripping into the MP, to confirm if your wick is dry.
I hope you get it worked out, good luck.
