Got my Ithaka today and its beautiful. I did notice it did not come with the small nut included in a extra bag. Unfortunately I cleaned it and during reassembly the top of the screwdriver blade popped the little finger off the top of the ceramic. Looks like I'm screwed as it doesn't look like replacements are available and I'm leaving town for a couple of weeks. I sent Bruce an email but I don't think there's any way to order the ceramic? Any advice?
The more I look at this maybe ill be ok. It is the small piece that separates the wick/wires on the ground side anyway. I may be able to take it with me anyway and get it to function. Anybody with experience please let me know. Thanks in advance.

That could be it but I ran mine that way and it never flooded. Worth a try though. I've since switched to using wicks in all 4 channels. Wicks better that way. Right now I'm using a mix of 3 1mm silica and a 1mm stand of ekowool.

Ya it should still be usable. I'm not certain it would work and don't push clones but in a pinch I wonder if the Hercules ceramic would work? They have those in stock.

The ceramic should be fine if just the little part that separates the channel breaks. I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't had one break yet but I've had Ody ceramics chip a bit and they are usually fine as long as the positive wire isn't touching the metal base.
Do you guys have any favorite e-liquid recommendations for use in Ithaka? Need to try some new flavors! Thanks!
I recently went to DIY juice and is totally worth it! Before that though I vaped bobas bounty, very delicious, I vaped it for almost 2 years straight!
Thanks for your response subver! I think I need to look into day juice as well, I'm sure it is much more cost effective. I have heard bobas bounty mentioned, but I can't tell what the flavor might be like from the name. Bounty of what?! Fruit flavored?

Legend and serendipity are my top 2 but those are hhv net juices. Custards last stand from nicoticket and callipiter chow from mom and pops are good in it too. Even better is 1/4 callipiter chow and 3/4 hhv crackberry mixed together.
Oh and bobas is good. Everyone pretty well likes it I think. Kinda tastes like graham crackers to me. Would add bobas is kind of a coil killer. It's 100% vg and it's thick even for that. Lol.

The Plume Room Peanut Butter Cream Pie - It's yummy, I am working on a clone of it myself and I'm close! I hated all other peanut butters I've tried. They are a little on the expensive side and it takes a few days for them to ship but their jooses taste better than any others that I have purchased and I have spent quite a bit on joose from other vendors that I will never finish.
Not fruit flavored, it's a tobacco flavor. The taste is hard to describe, and everyone tastes something different in it - it's really an amazing juice. I can only describe it with saying it tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie.. sort of a sweet graham cracker tobacco flavor. It's complex and unique.
It really grows on you.. I remember the first time I tried it I was like "I don't see what the big deal is" but the more I vaped it over the next hour the more I fell in love.
A lot of people love it, but there are also some who hate it, obviously taste is subjective... but if I had to recommend any one juice it would be Boba's Bounty!

Ya I've been debating on running different wicks in there too. I have 2, 3 mm ekowool, xs-116 and xs-118, xc-116, German silica strands and want to try cotton in there too. How's the ekowool working out? Ekowool never wicked fast enough for my low ohm or high voltage needs. I might have been choking it with tight coils though. For now ill just use Imeos 3mm silica and hope it doesn't leak. A few builds in and I'm def willing to try diff wicking material as I don't use silica anymore(use cotton exclusively other than in my gennys).
Thanks subver. I haven't been impressed with any of the tobacco flavors, Ive tried. I will check it out.
