I believe the solution is in your post.

In my opinion ekowool has no enough absorbability, so when i used it I had either gurgling or dry taste :)

Great post Stelio. I love ekowool but, it is not for me on Ithaka or any of the GG's. 1.0, 1.2, 2.0, 2.5 all gurgle and the juice runs through especially on the first half of the tank.

Onlyu 1 wick Dante and it works ok? No flooding ?

Haha wondered and experienced this myself already. If I leave the top feed open and sit it aside it WILL flood. So I've been opening it to vape then close it back. Not a big deal, just have to remember to close it when I'm done vaping for a while. Hasn't flooded again, yet. Thinking maybe next try I'll use one long piece of silica, run it down to the oring and then back up the empty channel and snip it off flush at the ceramic.

Well my TH and wicking issues are resolved. Thanks you guys for chiming in. Just found some 2mm silica lying around and wrapped 2 coils with it. .6ohms vapor heaven. Guess I can't use ekowool for everything. Oh, I did use a strip of ekowool for the middle crosspiece..lol. Great, now everythings back to normal...happy vaping:vapor:

yes its easier aal because air doesnt hit only in the middle where the coils are not in touch. Air comes from a lower point and the "cone" that produce, hits the coils in the right way
Guys are someone having good success with parallel coil? I mean in terms of air hitting the coils the right way. I think with the new nut, air is easier to hit parallel coils.

Oh nice.. I will try parallel coils next time.. I've always done the X coils. This will be easier if I am doing microcoils on Ithaka! That's the main thing that's been stopping me because the way most people do it is they thread the cotton through the coil after heating the coil up a few times and pinching the coils together so it forms more of a tube shape. I could never do that if they were in an X.

I mostly do parallel, but i let them touch each other so the air comes from the side.
I stoped the X ones because i had some issues with short-circuit when i had to entirely close the mouthpiece.
Of course i could push the X ones with my finger in to the rebuildable, but anyway... i love the parallels too :)

As I have mentioned, I find the way Scott adds another small piece of silica wick along with his longer wick when building parallel coils really works for me when Im not trying to copy Bishop!
