Yankee, I will update you on my status. Yesterday I took apart one ithaka, gave a nice shower including o-rings and made a microcoil single with cotton at 1.5 ohms. I did not put any Vaseline on the o-rings. Vaped on it last night without any problems, maximum juice control open 1 turn. Today morning I don't see any droplets at any point, except very very small (sweating like) on the slots at the base. I did not use the 17x1 yet by the way. So for now I am ok. Let us see what happens during the week. It is vaping like a champ. I really advise you to switch ithakas with someone that doesn't have a problem, we need to solve your issue and it is getting personal

As for the leaking from the bottom, all I have to say is what others have said. For me no problem of overtightening however make sure your positive wire does not deform the o-ring and that the post is aligned dead center. It is annoying I know, but if you go back I dunno how many pages back, I used to have a leak from bottom. What I did is disassembled the center pin and re-assembled it in a way that the plastic is not to one side or the other but center. This way I didn't have to align the center pin with scissors which I used to do every single time I re-coil. Also I went half a turn on my positive wire, and really it solved my leaking from the bottom issue. Why this is happening now for you? BEATS ME!!

Plastic between center pin and tail of ceramic housing. If you screw the pin the wrong way, the plastic might shift right or left and the pin will not be straight all the way.

yankee, I understand your frustration because you are expecting from me the best of the best. If it was for another mod you wouldnt make such a noise but you do that for GG series. Its more than logical. But we will together solve your issue. We have the solutions. As you know I always offer myself to help you as much as I can and be sure that you will not stay with an unsolved problem here. And you know that I am not the guy that will tell you "you bought it now so I dont care anymore".
Alittle off topic but what size is the Ithaka Insulator Plastic i want to pick up some o-rings and thought i would buy a couple Ithaka Insulator Plastic mines getting a little beat up thanks adam

I just measured my spare and its 5.5mm wide x 1.8mm thick x 1mm tall.

in your new video on youtube (Ithaka with premade ribbon wire at 1,5 ohm) i saw that your Ithaka Basic feeding part has a o-ring.
it isn´t a ring i will find in the Ithaka oring set !?
i noticed earlier that there is space for an oring and even tried ithaka with on i had left, but it did work for me so i took it off.

Just put a dual coil 1.8 per each wire set up in my ithaka god it screams not as much flavour as my previous 2 ohm wires but throat hit nearly blew my head off lol anyone got a good middle ground

This o-ring is not nessesary Stanley. But I put there just to make you feel a nice threading when you totally screw BF on base
