Really, can I send you photos of all my other gear because now I'm worried that I don't have a clue what I own!

seriously though, thanks, just awake and you've started my day off with a laugh, a rare gift you have there ;)

Ok I'm sorry I forgot they sold GGTS with hexagonal button before I started buying them.
I thought they were always round, that's what threw me off basically.

rog, be sure that if my thoughts are right, I will make the best dripper ever. I cant tell you details right now but you will be very impressed. It will change the way that drippers drip
Since I was the second person to reccomend the dripper body, I would like to dedicate my time and be the beta tester for it Imeo!.... I would be more than happy to do anything ;-)

Hate to disappoint but that was a GGTS in that video ;)

Todd, does your GGTS has brass electrical contact points? (axis post, button pin, center pin (atomizer positive pin)).

If I remember fine, I have saw on your videos, your GGTS has stainless steel contact points, if is so, I could send you a new button with brass pin and a brass axis (I do not have a spare brass center pin), just PM your address.

Brass electrical contact points in GGTS makes a huge performance difference.

Plenty of folks out there who love the Kayfuns, but I sold/traded mine because they were too temperamental for me. If I didn't do the build just right, if the wick was 1mm too high or too low, I got either leaking or dry hits. I gave them a few months, dozens and dozens of builds in 3.1 and Light, and finally gave up. My 2 Ithakas are much more forgiving, I really have to screw up a build to make it break, and I know I've done something wrong long before I assemble and fill - so, never happens.

I watched the video, interesting conversion seems very well made.
I have nothing against Todd but a bit of recognition and appreciation to the Imeo would have been welcome. After all he is using a clone Ody and a clone GGTS (which he fails to mention and just calls it a GGTS).

Regardless, I want to say that this video got me thinking. I've always been intrigued by the Kayfun and everyone is always raving about it. The Kayfun Lite version costs as much as the new 'update' for the Ithaka. I'm seriously thinking of going for that instead. You get a new well built atomiser, the ability to add a drip tip without paying for an extra adapter and a steel tank all for the same price. Kind of hard to say no to, especially for someone who likes trying out different configurations.

The downsides of course are losing the native jGG connection and the fact that I'd have 2 different atomisers to choose from. Choice isn't necessarily a good thing.

Thank's Kataphraktos for the input. As I said I do like trying new stuff but on the other hand I don't like having to choose between 2 different things for main use. If I were to like the Kayfun it would actually annoy me to have to choose between it or an Ithaka.

In the end I'll probably just go for the Ithaka update but I still thought I'd post my thoughts on the issue regardless.

I am excited to see this, because I have found that most drippers lack across the board. Unless all you are looking for is a large cloud. I have owned a few and finally decided that they are not worth my time. Now for dripping i run a doc dave mini micro and it is a champ. Can't wait to see what you come out with imeo and can't wait to pick one up.

Imeo is the ithaka rebuild part Greece vender only or will Bruce have them also?

to my humble opinion (even if I havent make or use any dripper), drippers have 3 problems that will be solved.

Of course I have more ideas than a dripper, like making Ithaka much shorter but at the same time let it take more liquid inside. Also, making a new GGTS button etc. Lots of ideas but I really dont know what to make first. And of course I am consummating mechanical parts of Proteus. All these are very nice thoughts and I will do my best to make them true
