You have to know the specifications for max current nathan. 18650 can handle the demand for current and I think the same for 18500. The current that goes via your circuit is 3,7/0,9=4,11 ampere. Its ok as I see it

I saw the new Ithaka video. Does Ithaka come with that dualcoil ceramic and it can be used for one and two coil, even everybody want?
Thanks Imeo. I figured I was ok, but wanted to check. I will try and hunt down the specs for the AW IMRs. Been thinking of trying MNKE batteries, but have been saving up for Ithicka. 
Troll: I would tend to use peak values for this one as it is the max value that is the concern. Using 4.2v coming off the charger with my 0.9 ohm coils gives me peak amps of 4.6.

yes sfera. You can use it as a sigle coil or a dual coil atomizer
The reason that I made a different calculation was because of the drop of voltage under load nathan. Under load the battery has to go up to its nominative voltage. It depends on load of course but your load is big, that why I made this different calculation

no you cant avg. The ceramic housing of Ithaka has a nose under it, so Ithaka's pin is much bigger and it will stick out of the ceramic

I was thinking that same thing actually. Not sure how I feel about the dual knurled rings when mounted on the GGTS. Who knows though, I haven't had it in my hands so it could be something that grows on me...
