That's why I mentioned Imeo's ceramic expetise. Ody, Penelope, and Ithaka all have ceramic so I was wondering if shaping the wicks accordingly and wrapping a normal coil would work.

I could see ceramic wick drop in's, if they didn't break too easily.

Its two very different types of ceramic. The new type of wicks will not work unless they were just laid across the top of the ceramic cup. There is no way to shape them that wide of a U shape. I have been using Odys for months (very similar to Ithaka) and I also have been fabricating these new wicks...

I was thinking more like just filling the rebuildable part with a ceramic like the ody v1 and use that for the wick and wrapping the ceramic with the wire like normal but not needing the string at all because the ceramic could be the wick.

I almost forgot to say Hi Kaalka, haven't seen you on for awhile. With all the ceramic Imeo goes through, somebody he knows would be able to figure it out.

no way to shape into U because it's too brittle?

Not really, don't want a U, I wish I had some way to draw it. Make one like the Ody V2, only longer so it would touch the juice and let the ceramic be the wick. Then wrap the wire around the ceramic. The ceramic should have the ability to wick. Hey I'm just throwing it out there.

I was the first one that made experiments with porous ceramic grab my friend but they break soooo easy. People will not be able to work with ceramics like this:)
Hi Imeo, I ran across an interesting thread here. Knowing how to form ceramic like you do, this might be an interesting way for you to skip some of the steps on Ithaka, Penelope, and Ody. Here is the link. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/362182-next-big-thing-porous-ceramic-wicks.html
