in theory ithaka dosent leak. ive done about 8 builds and have had no issues. i did have to clean my ggts because of condensation build up and that did give a slight gurgle/leak, but after a quick run under hot water, no problems. i can see how not screwing down the basic feeding and rebuilbable enough will not sit the center post o ring far enough and that will create a leak. i hope you all get those issues figured out. be patient, i had many issues with ody and penny and they were due to user error, not to say you all are doing something wrong, but youll get it figured out and vape with a smile on your face.

So....finally got home and have my Ithaka setup and what else can I say but this is one badass atty!

One question, I tried setting it up at first hooking it straight up to my GGTS with out using the 510 base. This resulted in me having to use my retreader in place of my telescope to make a comfortable fit with a 18650. Is there something I'm missing?

It just doesn't seem like it should be that short when not using the universal base.

using it with native base makes it a few mm taller than ody. i personally love the look on a ggts. its just sexy. i have been really trying to find flaws and i can not come up with anything. its has almost twice the capacity of ody and its lighter in weight. i really like the top cap design derived from penny, but the mouth piece unscrews easier like ody for better juice control. i like the new slots for better grip on the top cap and base when unscrewing. i tried chain vaping on my dual coil x setup at .7 ohm @3.7v and i cannot get a dry burn. the basic feeding system is just genius. the new center post design with the new grounding system with the plastic nut is great. the adjustable bottom center post is great for different mods (but ithaka should be on a ggts for optimal performance). and the basic feeding nut, wow what a great addition. i vape 100% vg and leave it wide open. i barely have to open juice control unless i really chain vape. and it cannot leak, the wicking system draws the juice out of the base and back to the coil. just make sure you get a tight seal with center post o ring, if you get gurgling or a leak you problem is its not tight, or your getting a condensation build up, imeo this design was very well thought out, im glad you took the extra steps to make ithaka perfect. just let me know when i can order a proteus so i can put my provari in the classifieds. grats

Just outside my comfort zone.
I sent the Pluid to Imeo and he is testing it over this weekend. He will let me know Monday.

I remember someone sent some Pluid to test the clear tank section. Do we have the results? Been busy the past few days and may have missed the results if they were posted.

Has anyone tried Maha Ras with the clear window?

im noticing my juice turns darker and darker as i go through the tank, anyone know why and if this can be prevented?

Don't think so. In my experience, this is the case with any non-feeder tank setup. The juice right next to the coil inevitably gets singed a bit, and the juice ends up feeding both directions.

Both nicotine and the sugars in eJuice will darken as it heats up. Also juice as it steeps may darken even tho it is not exposed to heat in the bottle. Typically this does not affect flavor, sometimes tho it can.

Most who used cartos did not notice this as you could not see the juice. There is nothing you can do to stop this when using tanks.

Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with the darkening, typically.

Pluid is not compatible with clear window of Ithaka Ry. Pluid destroyed the window in 4 hours.
