sometimes coils refuse to work billy. I have said my story in another post. Just make another coil, your Ithaka is ok for sure:)
So I'm having a hard time vaping with out getting a dry hit. I have the mouthpiece opened up all the way and I'm using 70 30 pg vg juice. I have a dual wick .8 ohm single coil. I almost think that pressure is building up inside preventing the juice from wicking or something. I'm not sure what is going on. Any help would be great.

wonderful sah, be well and happy vapinggg buddy!:)
Dear all , a very good day to everyone and i hope all are well .
Dear Imeo sir , a good day to you and hope you and your family are well .

Wanted to cheer that my Ithaka came today , and i love it .
took me about 5 minutes to set up and have been vaping on it for the last couple of hours .

This is my 1st GG device and i am sure that its the beginning of a lot more to come form your stable .

I already have managed to get a fairly new Penelope with a Kir fanis fatty tank and its on its way to me thanks to a very sweet person in Canada .

The work on the Ithaka is flawless , the threading is clean and smooth and everything is truly top-notch .

I congratulate you once again for making such a lovely device for all of us .

I have a simple setup , No dual coils , just simple , 2 wicks on each side with one coil in the center , 1.7 ohms and vaping like a champion :) .
I am Indeed very very happy with my purchase .

I wish you well Sir .
warm regards
Sah

glad you like it path. And that is a great picture!:)
#3971 arrived earlier this week, but I didn't get around to setting her up until yesterday. Doubled up vaporbase wick with 0.6Ω single coil, and she's pumping out some amazing vapor and flavor...even better than my Pennies and Odys!!! I will definitely be upgrading my Odys when spare parts become available. I hope that it's not considered sacrilege, but I'm not a fan of shiny things so I did end up tweaking the finish a little bit.

hello!
Stuck on page 242 with reading - some problems with short-circuit (as also seen in daves video) and some hints.

In german ERF-forum some users also reported shortcuts or temporarly shortcuts. One user found out what was the reason for his problem:

Sometimes it happens, that there is left a little (moving) span/chip on the inner side of the groove on the thread where the plastic nut is screwed on the ceramic housing. This burr could sometimes touch the center post and cause a short-circuit between centerpost and ceramic housing.

So if there are users who have this problem check if there is any small metal burr on the inside of the groove and remove it

I hope the drawing helps to imagine where this could happen.

I dont see a reason to make Ithaka 3mm bigger Lex when o-ring does a great job:)
Thanasis, do you have any plans to make a center post with another threaded part for the positive wire connection (like Penny and Ody), instead of just the o-ring being pressed up against the positive wire? So we would have the negative connection on top, and another threaded nut+o-ring for the positive. Just curious what you think about that. Thanks!

Thanks again Blix my friend:)
One question only. I really think that its the simplest and easiest single or dual coil atomizer that ever made. Is there something easier in the market that doesnt need any tools to make it work? As you know I dont really know what exists in the market but friends around tell me that all the rest of atomizers have a difficulty to make a coil on them, or they need tools or the user need glasses to see what is going on in them.

Imeo, it may be simpler that in you don't need any tools, but I had to watch a couple videos just to figure out where to put my positive and negative wires, so in that regard it's not that simple. :)
In a simple atomizer with just two poles sticking out to put your wires in it's quite a bit easier. :)
But I see you, once I got it, it was easy. :)

I am very glad to hear that Lo zio, thank you very much my friend. Also we misss you here!
I emptied my first tank.
No dry hits, no gurgling, no flooding - just constant, perfectly constant.
I am really satisfied, I'm loving Ithaka, even with the simpliest setup possible.
Again, hats off, don't know what else to say...

Thanks kill my friend.:)
I am so happy that you changed your mind and you are a happy camper now!:)
Well, I'm certainly glad I changed my mind about getting an Ithaka, 'cos this thing ROCKS! :D

Set it up real quick single coil with the pre-made wire that came with it and stuck it on my Bombshell 'cos I wanted to try out the 510 base

I can't believe how thin-walled the parts are, too. Huge improvement over Ody in terms of weight of the device

i agree, ithaka is very simple to set up and can be done in minutes if your familiar with wrapping your own coils. if you buy the ready made wires its even faster to setup. i make my own wires by twisting them as per bishops old videos for ody so i spend an extra minute or two. the easiest thing to do is get your coils made first and then its just a matter of securing the wires and that takes no time at all. imeo has videos in this thread that show how to set up, it cant get an simpler than ithaka

Agreed 100% :) Those little grip notches are perfect. I just wish there was one on the flange of the 510 base, too. When it arrived it was screwed together very tight and I had trouble gripping the base well enough to get it to break free

you can use CR to unscrew it next time buddy:)

This is my first gg product... Got turned on to silica atties after picking up the a7 and a7oid drip tip from Captivape. Well i liked that so much i went and got a Spheroid which is good for the size. Decided to try out a Terminator c but the machining was wonky and couldn't get it to work without flooding. But after picking up the Ithaka i am completely blown away. This is the best atty i own. Thank you imeo. Thank you very much!!

Just an update on my dry-hit issue:

My silica was dried out--it is 6+ months old and I do not store it in an airtight bag. After 4 tanks, it wicks like a charm!

someone may have mentioned this before, but in one of bishops videos he mentions that silica wick can dry out. he says to boil it for 30 seconds and then zap in microwave for 30 seconds and its good as new, ive tried it and its brought life back to my stale wick

I am so glad that you like it grigore, thanks a lot:)
I will repeat what it has been already written here: I am totally amazed by Ithaca, best atomizer ever. We all agree here. GGTS has finally gotten the atomizer it deserves. The wait was worth indeed!!! I am using a dual coil with ready made wires in X, with the kick.

Maybe this is a crazy idea, but has anyone tried dual coil with dual 18650 (with extension tubes)? Bish?? Are you there??
