DONT TIGHT with pliers the rebuildable part sub!:)
another quick thing... my post was also loose from the ceramic rebuildable part.. so I'm thinking it wasn't screwed tight enough and maybe as I was screwing the whole assembly in it turned, breaking the wires. I tightened it up REALLY tight this time with pliers (hoping not to break the ceramic!) and maybe I won't screw the whole assembly into the base QUITE as tight next time.
On the bright side, I had no leakage or anything :)

Thanks guys! I think I know what's wrong now.. I will report back later tonight when I rebuild :)

I don't tighten the rebuildable part with pliers, I tightened the positive post with pliers - is that ok? I can't get it tight enough with my hand.
I hand screw the rebuildable part into the base, though!

Ah, then its ok sub!

Yes, you must use pliers to tight the center pin against base. You keep with pliers the center post and you screw by hand the ceramic housing.
But there is no reason to do that except you want to remove the ceramic for some serious reason.

Ok good! I screwed it lightly with pliers the first time and it became loose, so this time I screwed it harder.
Being loose cause my positive wire to break at the plastic screw.. hopefully this time it wont.

I also just ordered Nickel wire to use instead of silver.. I hate when my silver wire breaks!

Hi Imeo,

I took the small cap off then the big one with mouthpiece closed and once again all my liquid drained in to TS collector tank. Not sure what to do.

Thanks,

Chris

Black, can you please tell me exactly what you do when you set up Ithaka? From start to end:)
