Black, can you please tell me exactly what you do when you set up Ithaka? From start to end:)

Sure thing my friend.

I set up a dual coil in an x configuration. I then put metal channel wires under plastic nut and ceramic channel wires under o ring and twist oring up against.
I then cut wicks at the o ring length. Then I screw on basic feeding until I can't see o ring. Then I screw both into base. When basic feeding is tight I then screw rebuildable all the way down until I can't turn anymore. Then I screw on MP and then the body. After that I fill and then put on big top cap then small. By the time Im done I do have some gurgling for a while and then after 20 minutes or so the gurgling diminishes and I vape for a couple hours and then want to change juices or add some menthol drops. That's when I open her up small cap then big and watch liquid disappear from window.

Thanks,

Chris

You open small cap and then big cap while mouthpiece is closed?

When you try to refill, where is the level of the liquid?

Yes I close mouthpiece tight and then unscrew small cap and then big. Liquid level is about 1/3 from bottom of the window and then it drains out.

for nickel wire do you guys use 100% nickel? I assume so.. I found some cheaper nickel wire on eBay I might get.
I've always used 32awg silver and 32awg kanthal.. is it better to get maybe 30awg NR if using 32awg R wire?

That's probably the same nickel I get. A spool? Also sells kanthal?

I cant see from where the liquid escapes black. It cant go anywhere if its lower than the ceramic.

Maybe vasilis assembled it the wrong way guys. The fat part of the nut inside ceramic is down. That way we can cover or expose the holes of the ceramic. And as yankee said, there is a cut on this nut in case you want to use a screwdriver
... mine came assembled with "the tube" upwards so... Imeeeeoooooooo, we need your help here! ;-)

It looks like there are a few sellers who sell both nickel and kanthal - but it's pretty cheap, about $7 for 100ft. I will probably just get 30 awg because I use 32 awg kanthal.
Some of it is listed as 100% Nickel and others are Ni200 Nickel 200 ("pure nickel")

Except that the nut inside ceramic was upsidedown, I would like to say that we have to tight hard the center pole against ceramic housing with pliers because center pole and ceramic housing must act like one piece. In case that we dont screw hard the center post against ceramic housing, the center pole will get unscrewed after 2-3 coils that we will make on Ithaka and we will have unexpected leakage

Scott, I didnt understand well the part where you were talking about an extra channel on Ithaka. Why do you think we need one more channel? For making a single coil?
