I will make the parts very quickly my dear. Especially the clear windows will be send to my sellers together with this new Ithaka batch
So just to update on the latest Ithaka pre-orders. The sale goes till the 22nd of this month and then how long after that can we expect to start getting the parts? Just curious because I need a clear tank part. My Ody clear tank broke after I sold my extra one. I figured I didnt need 2 as I ordered 2 of the Ithaka ones.

I have one clear Ody extension piece but it can only be used with the stainless steel extension piece. I have 2 Odys set up with 2 different juices and really miss being able to see the juice levels.

:D

I never had either... ;)

Wow, I thank you deeply for the effort!
I'm starting to follow your troubleshooting procedure! :D

1. Ithaka's base screws easily flush on top of the provari. To speak the truth if there's something I do not doubt in my life, well, than that is Provari's bild quality - flawless as usual. Flush on both Provaris.
I tried first screwing the 510 base flush to the provari top and then mounting the rest, but the problem remains, it gets stuck at some point.

2. Screwing and unscrewing manually the adjustable brass pin onto the ss pin works, now I don't feel any resistance anymore. I'm also cleaning both; if there were some organic residues (from the juice maybe) now they are gone, I am cleaning everything with isopropanol first and then hexane - this should do.

3. Nice suggestion, I will try.

You know what?
It could be....and it makes sense... it didn't come to my mind.
After point 3 I'm trying this for sure.

No no, it helped a lot, and even if I don't solve the problem your exquisite help was much appreciated!

if you first screw on your mod the base of Ithaka and then the rest of Ithaka, the center pin will not be adjusted Lo Zio. We do this only when we dont want an adjustable pin and its for people that like a hard connection between center pole of Ithaka and center pin of the mod.

Did you lubricate with vaseline the threads of the center pole as I said in my previous post?

I also Ran into this problem with the center pin adjuster so I took the brass adjustable pin off and put it back on the right way up LOL Mine was user error I had the Non Slotted end pointing towards the Ithaka instead of towards the Mod :D

Sincerely;
Nate

Aha, thanks for the info, I never tried so I didn't know.

In fact I did not, since it was already lubricated (with glicerine, though).
I cleaned brass and ss pin with the mentioned solvents and it seems you were right about liquid residues preventing the adjustable pin to move freely, now it works! :D
Still a little bit hard, but combining cleaning, screwing/unscrewing movements and avoiding to screw the rebuildable part so tightly into the base altogether did the job.
Meaning: Ithaka is delivering again as I got used to.
Time for a little whiskey combined with an eccellent vaping experience.
Thanks everybody for the help!

great Lo zio my friend:)
Also, screw very well the rebuildable part on base, otherwise the rebuildable part will get unscrewed while you adjust the liquid control

Of course, previous experience with Penny helps in this respect, it won't unscrew, that's for sure.
My congratulations again for the outstanding piece of hardware you produced.
I'm eager to see what's coming next!

Really enjoying my Ithaka here with dual-coils kicking ... at 0.6 ohms.
I found that when going this low in resistance you really need to get that juice flowing, so I use both the auto-feed and the extra wick in-between like Bish shows in his videos. No problems here with 100% VG Grant's Vanilla Custard. :)

if it screws then its not a threading problem but threads must work each other a little more time Tark. Next time that you will change your coil, screw-unscrew some times those 2 pieces together and threads will become like butter:)
The only problem I had- on one of my Ithakas the top nut doesn't screws easy on the top cap. It takes a few minutes for me to screw it on.. Probably some threads defect

Hola!!

I'm finding that when I use 100% VG juice that I get less vapor and the draw is more stiff than I like. I figured I would get more Vapor in this situation. I just cleaned everything on my GGTS like Bish said to do but still lacking a fog machine vape.

Does your GGTS have brass contacts?
what coil/s are you running? I am using 60pg/40vg and getting tons of vapor. Two 2 ohm coils in an X...awesome!

Hi River,

I'm running dual 1.5 ohm coils in an X. It was hitting like a freight train until I got a new batch of juice that was 100% VG. I will try and go back to 50/50 and see if it gets back to fog machine status. I always thought more VG = more vapor but maybe I'm wrong.

Hey blackwater, more VG does make more vapour, but it also means that at low Ohms, the juice being thicker takes more time to wick up to the top. You might need to open the juice flows a bit larger to let more juice get to the coils so they stay wet enough so you give your coils enough juice to keep up with the heat.
