Hey blackwater, more VG does make more vapour, but it also means that at low Ohms, the juice being thicker takes more time to wick up to the top. You might need to open the juice flows a bit larger to let more juice get to the coils so they stay wet enough so you give your coils enough juice to keep up with the heat.

Right on. Thanks. I'll give it a shot.

Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
Lesson learned: As an FYI, it is possible to tighten the rebuildable part too much. I split the fat little o-ring by tightening too much against the base :(

On the plus side, I had a spare from some Ody parts and took the opportunity to zap-weld some 0.6 ribbon and wrapped a single coil "X" (~1.1Ω using 1.5in res ribbon). I'll run this build for a couple tanks but so far not liking it as much as a dual coil "X" done with 1.5Ω ready wires...

GGTS and Stealth will not be sold via preorders icig my friend. So better order your Ithaka and you can order your GGTS when it will be available:)
Hey Imeo.

I was wonder if there would be a pre-order for the GGTS's, Also when would we be able to pre-order. I am going to pre-order an Ithika in the next few days and was hoping to also a pre-order a GGTS and receive them together if possible.

Thanks

I've been running this setup for single coils (0.6 ohms) lately. Best method for single coils that I've tried thus far. Three wicks under the coils and I have yet to get a dry hit.

this ithaka comes with a plastic middle tank.
which is the part i need to order to make it a full stainless steel tank?

i worry some of my juice may crack the plastic.

The stainless steel section (to replace the clear window) is not ready yet, but Imeo will make it for sure :)

In the meanwhile, if you have an Odysseus short mode, you can use its tank section on Ithaka.

Just outside my comfort zone.
I also have 1 zapper that should arrive in the next few days. I hope it will work so I don't have to use ready wires.

Today's setup is single coil:

2 strands removed from a 3mm wick, so we have 2 wicks 2mm each. Put wicks side by side and put the wire very tight on them. Put wick on channels as usual. The result is thicker vapor and a change on taste. If you think that Ithaka tastes great, try this:)

Has anyone tried XC-116 ceramic wick yet??

Hey there Vapor2112, I have tried it and I have to say it is more fuss than it is worth, it is very difficult to work with and frays instantly when you cut it badly.

It was definitely not a win for me.
Hope this helps my Friend;
Sincerely;
Nate

Haven't touched the stuff yet, but I've been hearing great things using it in genesis devices, just haven't really heard much chatter yet in anything else.

I ordered some of the 1/32 diameter and will give it a go in the Ithaka for grins. I'll report back when it arrives. :)
