Thanks a lot kw. I will make those nuts and if someone wants to take them then its ok buddy. If not, its ok again:)

ps.... 1,5mm wick in X style works exellent the last 4 days on Ithaca
Yea I'm interested to see what it looks like also. I am vaping a cigar extract that I made that gunks like crazy. Its already chocked the air to the point I've opened the control all the way.
This is also my 1st Ekowool venture. So intrigued on that front. I def think it's wicking very well. juice is 50/50 and I only open the juice every now and then. BF is wide open.
Also no flooding, or gurgling. I can intentionally get it to gurgle by leaving the juice open too long. For experiments sake i do this and it is just like Ody (no reason to think otherwise) I just flip it upside down for a quick second and it feeds to the wick and gurgle gone.

Imeo,
I wouldn't change a thing. Mine is perfect anyway...

Well I guess it could come with a life time supply of wick. That would be OK with me :D

as I said in my previous post I did just what you said Ali. A center post with side holes. It doesnt work. As for the hole to the mouthpiece, it already exists.
I know that you try to solve the noise problem but its already solved with the new nut that I will send you, no worries:)

Imeo, by the hole in mouthpiece, I meant a second hole, one to get air in and to the coil, and the second, which already exists, for getting the vapor out to your mouth.

The idea was to get the air from up, not from down... or maybe from the sides...

take a look at genesis attys. the air goes in from the side, and you never have liquid on the positive pole of your device (ggts or provari for example)

can't work on Ithaka or any atomizer surrounded by your juice ;-)
(in genesis juice is underneath the atomizer and wick/coil are surrounded by anything else than air)

I know, I do have a z-atty pro. Let's think outside the box. If there is a second air channel in the ithaka mouthpiece for letting the air in (in contrast to the current way of getting the air in from beneath), then we have our liquid underneath the coil, right???

Gen atties=leak

the only one I can't carry with me is the Zen: the cap comes off just blowing on it :-/
never had a single drop come out from the Cobra, the AC9 or the Ikarus (the latter is always with me in a pocket)

... unless you carry them upside down ;-p

Not...Necessarily.... True.... :)

1/16 nextel in a genesis results in a great vape and 0 leaking. No worries, I still love my Ithaka too.

I think with the GG using silica is really what makes it work. Biggest factor for me is a sealed device with no leaking. Gen atties=leak

Thats why genesis style atomizers have problems and they try to find the right place for the hole Ali. And be sure that even if the side hole on genesis atomizers is the best possible, its still not in the right place. Genesis style atomizers would put a center hole if they could but they cant. As for hole of mouthpiece, this cant be done because if air comes from up then it will not hit the coil so no vapor will come to your mouth

Two weeks of use Ithaca No leaks no gurgling
I'm not lucky as you. I have leaks every time I fill the thank. I need to find an o-ring 17x1 as Imeo suggested. I hope this will fix it, when I'll find it. I recently also bought 2 sets of Ithaka o-rings from e-smokeguru but it still leaks. Probably the o-ring replacement is 16x1 as the original.

Imeo,
Have you tried a smaller hole at the top of the nut? That would make the air flow speed up as it comes through the nut. Just a thought.
I made a lot of nuts Ali just to see whitch one works without any noise. I made one at 3mm with a cut and the ability to leave holes opened or closed, one at 3mm with holes always open, one at 6mm with 2 holes on it for the air, one with side holes, one with side and center hole for air etc. I made about 10 different nuts. The one that doesnt produce any noise at all is the one that is 3mm in length with a fatter base (5mm) and the rest of it is at 2mm.

No worries, when you will receive it you will be more than ok.

if you have leakage from the space between base and engraved tube then you need a 17x1 o-ring as you said lord. I will send them to my sellers:)

Thank you Imeo. Yes, the problem is between the base and engraved tube. I only hope the 17x1 o-ring will be not visible when the tank is closed.

Other than the o-ring of different size, do you think replacing the last part of the tube may also fix the leaking?

Imeo, over time pluid has been known to crack plastic tanks. It hasn't ever cracked any of mine but it has etched it horribly. One thing I also noticed today that is has melted the plastic caps on my carto tank. So my question is: will pluid affect the rubber o rings inside ithika or any other parts on it. I have already pre-ordered metal tank piece to replace plastic one on ithika.
