dont worry sub, nothing bad will happen. Just do it as I told you.:)
So when the center post is crooked, is it that little plastic O-ring that is doing it? I really feel like the threads are screwed on perfectly, it's when I tighten it that it goes crooked.

And also, I'm terrified of forcing the post straight because I don't want to crack the ceramic, either! Especially when I have screwed it on perfectly before, so I know it can be done!

Thanks a lot black, be well my friend:)
Went back today to the dual coil X config. Love it!!!! .75 ohms and hitting like a mother Fker!! I will say this. That my next coil will be a single 1.5 ohm that I liked last time and the reason Is that I find both equally enjoyable and that's what this Atty is all about!!! Choices people. That's what we all have been asking for and we finally have it.

Cheers again to you Imeo. Play around with it folks. You might find like me that you like a change now and then.

Peace

Crooked center post issues: It has to do with the build up of negative-side NR wire between the housing and the insulator nut, and the build up of positive-side NR wire between the center post o-ring and the stopper on the center post. If you wrap too much/unevenly, this creates a build up of NR wire with an uneven surface, thus causing the center post to become crooked when installed. Take your time when securing the wires and don't wrap too much, a full revolution is more than enough. If you set it up properly, there is no need to forcefully adjust the center post after assembly. As an afterthought: a damaged insulator nut and/or damaged center post o-ring could also obviously contribute to a crooked center post, but if they are not worn, then your issue is wire buildup.

I get what you're saying.. but my crooked center post issue happens before I set up coils or anything.. after cleaning my Ithaka and screwing it all back together sometimes the post is crooked.. If I unscrew it and do it a couple times it will eventually stay centered, but sometimes it can be a pain!

Imeo, I would wear this as a ring if you made them as rings. This would be a good wedding ring. :)

You've probably already tried this, but I think the first thing I'd do is to try to find out exactly where the center pin begins it's journey off-center. What about putting a toothpick in the end of the center post? Anything that will protrude out of the hole in the bottom piece so you can observe it and will be aligned with the center pin. Screw the re-buildable part in and watch the toothpick or similiar item closely, does it whobble or does it stay straight? When it starts to go off-center then at that point you can determine what parts are interacting with each other at that exact moment.

Like I said you've probably already tried this but it was the first thing that came to mind and the first thing I'd try in my troubleshooting.

You mentioned that sometimes it screws together and the center pin stays straight. At that point I'd be looking for wobbling in the reverse direction.

The posative post has some wiggle room where it goes into the ceramic housing. That said I wonder if the pin is crooked or just off perfect center. if it is just off center then it should be semi easy to move it to center.

Oh hmmm.. am I too late to get in on a preorder for the steel window? I wasn't originally going to buy it as I like the clear plastic.. but now that I can't get my everyday juice I am going to make my own.. and one recipe calls for a touch of cinnamon, and I don't want to crack my Ithaka window!

Yes, it can be extended by adding more upper tubes on it Jonny, so its much easier than Odysseus. Also the new telescopic mouthpiece will let you have only one mouthpiece for all the lenghts of Ithaka
Just a quick question

I have an Ithaka on the way from the pre-order, and just wanted to know if the tank can be extended to hold more e juice like the odysseus can be.

Not all cinnamon juice cracks plastic tanks as I have been vaping cinnamon for the past 8 months without cracking issue. You can test it first in some cheapo plastic old tanks you have lying around.

Imeo I have a question. I went to my local batteries plus store to see if I could save some
Money buying batteries local instead of paying for shippig. They have a tennergy branded batter that is 18650 and puts out 3.7 Volta but instead of lithium magnesium it is lithium ion. So you know if I can use this is the GG? Or does anyone else

Not sure how much you are going to save going to Batteries Plus but Lithium Ion batteries use to be very common although most recommend you use protected versions. They aren't as good for low load attys and they use to have much more loaded voltage drop then IMR style batteries.
