I've got a bad squirrel taking bites out of all my peaches on my tree. They're so cute...but so bad...and I've been thinking of taking a shot as well. Not to kill, just to scare!

The nice thing about a low powered BB gun is that it probably stings but that's about it. If you have one of those high powered CO2 ones it might take him out.

My dh is always using his bb gun on the squirrels here because of our pecan tree they totally wiped it out one year and this tree is huge! he doesn't shot them but close enough so they know its there. They tend to scatter when they see him....LOL.

I don't even own a BB gun. LOL! But I'm thinking about buying one! I had about 3 dozen peaches a week ago...I think there are 5 left. BAD SQUIRRELS!

It's hot here every day for months. A couple days ago it hit 116.

We live indoors until October. Like vampires, we go shopping after dark.

I don't like squirrells!! Some of them get pretty brave and sit on top of the fence and bark at you, we have a broom stick by the gate just for that reason.

I bottle raised one a couple of years ago. I just loved the little thing! He was so sweet and loving. I did a "soft release" with him and he went off on his own at about 7 months old. I cried for days. But yeah...I know they can be nasty when they want to be. They get brave...or stupid??

Stupid I think, we have had to rescue a few of them out of the pool. When it gets real hot they try to get to the water and fall in. You would think if they can walk on wire then they could keep from falling off a ledge.

hehe rig yourself a sling shot with some lima beans or any dry bean ,
my kids got real good at discouraging them . They are cute but darn pesty at times.

Me... I favor M 80's.. Often and loudly!!!!
