Seems you have a whole lot going on there and I find it helps to take issues one at a time so to speak. So, starting with your gear.....

I've had my G-Priv kit for over a year and have never had any O-ring issues, still using the same ones I started with. It sounds like it worked well at first for you, before you tried DIY and started doing a lot of fiddling with it. For now, ruling out anything DIY related, get your new O-rings and make sure they are properly installed. Start fresh with a store bought juice you know and like, and see if you get it working like new. You don't mention at what wattage you used when it was working well or if you have had other instances of accidently increasing wattage. Getting it really hot is the only thing I can think of that would "stretch" the O-rings. I run mine between 54 and 62 watts and find that good for me. Try and get in the habit of locking the touch screen every time when first starting it up. Very simple with a short hold of the little button above the fire bar until the lock appears in upper left of the screen. Once you get that working, you'll have something to hit while playing with your DIY.

Unless somebody has a reason your DIY could cause the problems you describe for your gear, it is a separate issue and you are getting good advice already on that. I would only suggest using something else for testing your mixes and keep what is working for use while doing that testing. Get another tank (I prefer something small like the Baby Beast) or, better yet, a dripper for trying your mixes. I am not big into building, but my shop sold me a cheaper Freakshow dripper, put a build on it for me, and said they would do builds for me when needed. Works great (especially for tasting) and gave me the opportunity to first try wicking, then try wrapping coils.....something I never thought I could manage.

Once you get that all set, be prepared to buy a few other tanks for your successful mixes.....you'll want to be able to switch up flavors quickly when desired!

Good luck!
Thanks. Good to hear you have had no problems. I did a bit more reading and people say certain flavours can cause the seals to expand. Especially citrus. So I'm heading to one of my flavours is not right. Guess I try and be at a time

All good suggestions thanks. Nic is fine I think. Tried it on its own. The others will take a while. Like trying one and then cleaning tank and swapping . but I guess needs to be done.

Taste Testing your Nicotine Base (at a Vapable mg/ml Level) is Critical to DIY. And should be done Every Time someone gets a New Batch of Nicotine Base.

I have seen Many Threads where someone says that Everything they make Tastes Bad. Only to find out Later that the Reason everything tastes Bad is because their Nicotine Base Tastes Bad.

Do yourself a Favor. And that is Before you decide to make too many Changes, just let that Recipe you Mixed sit in a Cool Dark place for about a week. Then pull it out and give it a try.

Many Flavors need Time to Age. And what tastes like a cross between Gym Socks and Mouth Wash when freshly mixed, can actually be Very Vapable.

Or it could still be Gym Socks/Mouth Wash after a week. But you Won't Know until let it sit. So Patience is a Virtue.

This!

What you are doing is the Art of Troubleshooting. You are violating its first principle, which is "change one thing at a time."

You have so many moving parts that you may never know if a tweak to one thing fixes a problem with another.

Get the hardware working first. Get some cheap, simple store bought juice to try in it until the hardware works.

Then start dabbling in DIY juice, and start with very small, very simply flavored batches.

One thing at a time, and don't be in any hurry.

I realize its about as accurate as...whatever, using drops. But should it taste that bad?
Welcome and glad you joined.
A word about DIY, for the first six months of vaping, most folks are getting their vaping legs (finding the best set up for them and getting to know the type of flavors they enjoy most), might want to wait the 6 months or so until you feel you are ready.
re: Lost in the valley of vaporizers...help!
If your vape equipment is stable and you have a known/predictable responses to several e-liquids mixes, your chances of DIY success will be greater. Above all, DIY tends to work best and reward those who to wait patiently.
The information below is just the first step to getting a handle on vape gear.
Using drops is not the best way to measure DIY mix portions.

Hi and welcome, some great suggestions already so the only thing I can add is mix a small amount of just pg and vg at your vaping % and vape a bit of that. Should be kinda tasteless with a bit of sweetness from the v.g.,take notes, then mix a small amount of pg/vg with nic and vape some of that, take notes. If no foul taste then great you have tested your vg, pg and nic and have some unflavoured base to vape between changing flavours I often vape some unflavoured on my RDA between flavours instead of rewicking, now do the same with each separate flavour you have maybe around 5% or less if it's a super strong flavour, wait a couple days and vape the individual flavours, take notes, wait a week, vape the flavours again , take notes.
By now you will be well acquainted with your individual flavours and you may find there is a flavour with an off taste.
This is why a RDA is so useful for testing flavours and recipes, too much work cleaning a tank between flavours and the coil and wick will have a residue of flavour left so it changes your next flavour test, and take notes on every flavour test.
It may sound like a lot of work but beats throwing away money and time on juice you can't vape.
Within a week to 10 days you will be well on your way to mixing something vapeable. Did I mention take notes? if not remember take notes of every mix and tasting unless we have perfect recall it is impossible to remember later what something tasted like.
RDA, test each component of recipe individually, and did I mention take notes and spend some time in the DIY forums and in a short time you'll be sharing your newest recipe with us
