I happily quit cigarettes 8 months ago with a simple joyetech e-cab. I wasn't smoking that much when I quit but I had been doing it for a long time and I was feeling the cumulative effects of smoking. I say 'happily' because it was easy for me to do. I say 'simple' because it was so straightforward to use the primitive little device.

Now I have a much more powerful Mod that uses up three times as much juice and creates three times as much vapor. I was led into it by this forum. It's the equivalent in smoking terms of firing up several large cigars a day (much healthier I know) but still it has progressed to the ridiculous.

I am now attempting to re-adjust to my little e-cab and become happy again with much less.

I started with eCabs, too, never had or wanted another cigarette, and vaped happily for over a year until I happened upon ecf. I've upgraded both my equipment (slightly) and my liquids, but I still go back to my little eCabs, mostly for tasting, but sometimes just because they work, they're easy and I like them.

I hear you, I love love love that new Kanger Mega, and it sucks juice like a fat kid loves cake. *lol*

so I swap off, a couple hours with the mega and then back to some of my other ones. it's a treat then not an all the time.

As we've got to go get more juice this afternoon for Ed, Claim Your Throne is costing us a throne.

I forsee DIY Juice coming up next month. *lol* I'm reading those posts, the deal is the ones I've tried are one note, and seems like the premiums have complex blends. we'll see.

it's that or win the lottery at this point *lol*

I used the cig a likes with disposable carts for about 6 or 7 years but they didn't have enough nic and just didn't last long enough - tried a couple of didfferent brands. Early this year I got some new ones that had the small battery with refillable carts. Was going thru 3 batteries a a day and refilling the carts 3 or 4 times at least. They were better than the old ones but I need more. Got a couple of spinner batts and a protank 2 - that was doing the trick. Now I've got 5 spinner batts, 7 tanks (3 different models), a couple of pipe mods with 18350 batts. Got a couple more tanks on the way and looking at getting a MVP2. Why so many? I'm currently keeping 5 different flavors going at the same time and want to be sure to have backups to handle any emergency. Hoping that I don't end up getting the urge to do my own builds.

It's costing a few bucks but not as much as the bike has after joing the Harley forum.

Hi, I am just starting out and I like the small E Cig I have I got from Markten. Its working better and better over the last couple weeks and I refill the little coil cartridges when needed and charge the battery when it runs out. I am sure I will eventually try something bigger but for now this little E Cig is working its magic! :D I wondered how much juice those big vapes use with the small E Cig I used 12 ml in about 10-12 days. For sure once I get a bigger vape I will be making my own juice as the price $6 a 12 ml bottle would get steep. Anyhow I really enjoy vaping more than I thought I would after 30 years of smoking and I am surprised it actually works!

I started using up juice like crazy chain vaping my Provari and Russian 91% when I got them. Now I'm naturally down to about 3-4 mL a day and I still chain vape at home. Don't ask for an explanation, I don't have one. I just know I only need to refill my Russian once per day and still have enough jujce for work hours the next day. I guess your tank quality and coil build/wicking will make a difference on how much juice you use, but I do get fairly big clouds out of it. There is nothing wrong with going back to simpler systems, I still use standard Aspire tanks for other flavors, but I like my newer setup way too much to go back full time.

lol that damn russian/kayfun and provari combo, i love it of course but i hear ya im going through about 10 ml of juice a day with that setup, i like the physical act of inhaling smoke(vapor) and with the added boost in flavor of rba it gets real tough to put it down sometimes, have been pondering just using higher nic juice so if i go overboard theres a penalty for it(nic sick) :p
can really get expensive after awhile

Try being a member of a guitar forum for 15 years....hehe. Talk about expensive!

:laugh::laugh::laugh: I feel your pain .

Not sure if you guys call it G.A.S here but Gear Acquisition Syndrome seems to have kicked in with vaping for me.

Like chasing that sort after tone the cloud chasing has began :D.

I started with a MVP and VV3 and have now added another of each, a SVD, a VTR in the mail and enough tanks, coils and juice to :vapor: a small army.

GAS and shinyitis are alive and well here too ausguitarman. I've managed to stay away from it in vaping, but I also stay away from it in other parts of my life ;). I buy what I need or want to fulfill my needs, not to have the latest and/or greatest. I know, I'm boring

CravenA, use what works best for you. Thing is there is no wrong way to vape :thumb:

Well, I quit originally with eRolls. But now that I've tried rebuildables... nuh uh, no way am I going back to cigalikes. They can have my Kayfuns when they pry them from my cold dead fingers.

Andria

They might as well have thrown a pillow case over your head and dragged you off the street. They've got you now Andria (or should I say Tania).

for some people the mods etc are actually a way to help cut down. I was on 18-24 for the longest time (and still use it occasionally) it was not untill I got a dripper, and could inhale such volume of vape, that I was able to scale down to 6. I have tried zero...its not healthy for anyone around me when I am on 0.

ROFL!!!! Do you know, when I was young, I actually looked like her? Actually sort of a cross between Miss Hearst and Geddy Lee of Rush. But my uncle called me "Patty" for years, because of that.

Actually I was a victim of my own curiosity. I spent my first month as a vaper proclaiming that I would NEVER be able to learn how to fiddle with electrical things, and was determined to not even try, it terrified me so much. But I just kept hearing about rebuilding, how the vape was the next thing to god, apparently. It occurred to me that I was changing my life by quitting smoking, so why not expand my horizons and just *see* if I could do it.

Whaddya know, it's really not hard at all. And now that I build my own coils for my 2 Kayfuns, an RSBT, an ARO Pyrex, and 2 Mini PT II's, oh and a Caterpillar RDA that I don't use much... there's just no comparison. I realize that not everyone needs or wants or would be physically able to learn how to do this, but once you find that you *can* do it, you get to experience a much more intense vape, which not everyone wants either -- that's why I don't use the Caterpillar much, the TH can just about kill me if I'm not very careful.

I used my eRoll again to get me back to vaping, during that month I was dual-using; the form factor is just right when you're trying to get yourself over that switch, and also because vapor was tasting strange to me, and the eRoll mutes it enough that I didn't get massive quantities of that strange taste. Once I got used to the taste again, I went back to my rebuildable tanks, cleaned up the eRoll, and put it away again. If ever there's anyone I know who wants to try vaping, that eRoll full kit will be a good PIF.

I couldn't agree more!

There as antoher topic where somebody wanted more throat hit and all the responses were to "buy a bigger mod". All that does is give you more battery power, not throat hit.

Just about anybody can adjust TH with proper PG / VG ratio and correct delivery device on top of a battery.

I happen to believe that since I did so much damage to my esophagus/throat smoking, I do not WANT to add more *heat* to the insides of my windpipe. So I vape as simply as I can, and it's plenty hot. I can vape anywhere from 4-8 WATTS on a simple ego battery, just have to have right liquid and right atty/clearo on top.

Not saying people shouldn't enjoy big powerful mods.....jsut that that is only 1/2 the story.
