i have done both ways and now that i have been bottom filling for the past month, both methods i can do in the same time. actually because i don't have to close down the juice control before filling, i could probably fill the aqua faster doing the bottom fill method.

I don't remove aqua from mod, don't remove drip tip, don't adjust air or juice control. Glad there are two ways to easily fill aqua. No tools required.

I run single coil to maybe double juice mileage and batt life. Dual coil did have greater than excellent vapor quality while single coil vapor quality is just excellent.

yah its certainly an awesome vape. been thinking of buying an aqua clone because i have been really enjoying the real aqua, do you just have the clone? or do you have a real one to compare? i usually don't buy clones and because i have so many devices i really don't need another, but at a clones price i may. any issues with your clone?

I only have the tobeco clone so cant compare, but the machining and build quality on this is excellent. The only slight problem with it is the threads on chimney aren't perfect like the rest oh and that it doesn't hold enough juice but what are you going to do there.

you wouldn't think it, but the device does hold a lot more juice when filling it up with the bottom method. to me personally this wasn't why i started filling this way but it was a nice perk.

yea I bottom filled it the last time think it holds close to 3ml but with dual coils that goes fast.

my latest dual coil is twisted 30g at .3ish Ω's and is fantastic. i usually run single strands of 26g but decided to try some twisted. i have tried a higher resistance to use with my dna-20 mod, i think it was in the area of .8Ω and didn't think it was all that compared to the lower one. its just finding the right balance of your coils and personal preference.

im running .5 ribbon micros vertical at .8 ohms it hits plenty hard enough for me.

vertical coils rock as well, if i get another aqua, one would be vert and one horizontal, as for the ribbon, i love the flavor but the vapor to me seems a little thinner, just not as full, but that could just be me. anyways good talking to ya buddy, time to sign off.

I have been filling mine from the bottom since seeing videos from dwcraig1 and vapdivrr and that works the best for me. I don't have any problems with it flooding as long as I vape it right after filling it. If I fill it and set it down for a minute, for some reason I always get some flooding through the air holes. I will say I have used a syringe to fill on a few occasions and the most I have gotten in it when it was bone dry, was 2.5ml... Not sure why I can't get 3ml in it other than I have the poly tank on mine and maybe it is just a smidgen smaller than the SS tank. That is the only explanation I can think of...

Tried the same thing and it looked pretty full just north of 2 ml.

Maybe someone can verify 3 ml?

Thanks for volunteering to do the leg work. I'm sure you'll remember to have air control full open for max capacity.

Verified.... The SS tank will hold 3ml of liquid. It is ever so slightly, longer than the poly tank I got from Ultra Vape. That is filling it from the bottom, I gave up on top filling as I could never fill it and not seem to waste some liquid!!!

Aqua accident today. User error. Got trianglevapes 18500 efest batts and they have raised bottom like sony VTC3 30 amp.

Left Aqua/Origin on desk. Picked her up a few moments later. Autofired. Burnt my finger just shy of making blister. E-liquid boiled out. I cooled her down and took top off. O-rings not melted. Plastic deck sub floor doesn't look melted from bottom view. Still some liquid left. Put her together and she vapes perfect; no burnt taste at all.

I actually never measured the bottom fill amount precisely but one time I thought I had a little in the tank, filled it up with a syringe and loosely filled to 3ml. nothing was exact, just approx.

I did that once with my caravela mod. eventually I sold it because I hated locking & unlocking the button everytime I put down the mod. although I love the looks of a bottom button, I find it a pain. now I only own side button mechs like the roller & dingo's
