I just lay them on their side and give 'em a turn every now and then...if I am in a hurry, I set them on the batt end for a short and go ahead and use...at this point in my vape career, I know when I will need a new one and have it ready way in advance............

...burning the fill is the biggest danger...PROBABLY popping the coil, would be next............

sometimes the contacts just need a good scrubbing. If the draw gets tight on you again, take your isopropyl and dip an old toothbrush in it. Flick off the excess moisture and give the contacts and threads of the battery and cartomizers a good scrub. This has worked well for me. Make sure you get into the airholes in the battery too.

For clarity:

2ohm 808 Boges and Volt batts: I use the combo often and love it. However, I do meter test them before I fill them and *most* of them test out at 2.1 or 2.2 ohms. I randomly get one that will test at 1.9ohms. I don't use that one on my skinny batts, those end up on mods with adapters. :) I've never killed a skinny batt with a 2ohm carto...but that doesn't mean you won't. I top off a carto at the very first indication of loss of vapor or flavor.

I don't mind the wait, so I get them here: 5pc Boge 808D Soft Cap Empty Cartomizer(4 colors) [Disposable] - $4.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail-- Usually arrive in 10 days.
