1. Is this a normal charge life?
2. Is there something I can get to test the battery under load?
3. If so, can you point me to a reputable supplier at a good price?
4. What battery do you use/recommend for even longer battery life?

1.That's close to normal for the 1600's, I usually can polish off a whole 6ml before it drops to 3.7v

2&3. You can test them under load with a multimeter but it will include voltage drop from the mod.

4. The Sony VTC5's are very solid batteries. I get a good bit more battery life with them but I still think my AW's hit harder.
