Always the pimp Papa, always the pimp. The VVG dying tossed me out of sync... my next few REOS buys was going to be more Woodvil's. But I do like the LP Grand so having another to replace the VVG was an easy buy.

I agree. The VVG was bought as a piece of REOS history, not because I wanted VV. I set the pot mid range and left it there, used my coil builds to match the joose used in it, not the pot. The VVG may be repairable. I'lltry to get into it this weekend to find out. Depending on what failed with as many VVG's that have been coverted I would think Rob has spare parts. If not they might be available outsourced. If it can't be fixed I will probably not convert it, just keep it for what I bought it for.

Since I had eBaron's and Sofia's before you....

The TRA was a natural choice, or a Hammer Tone Silver since all my REOS so far are basic black or wood (Copper Vein turned black, 2 Silver Vein).

I still have not decided if I like the SL's. But I did buy a brass SL Grand door to try patina on (and a Mini brass door) if I ever go get the supplies to do them with. If (when) I buy another metal I'll probably dive into the colors finally. Bright and gawdy are not my thing with PV's though, so color choice will be quite a project to figure out and subject to what Rob has in stock. Too bad there are not a bunch of door choices available to build whatever combo you might want.

To the OP, congrats on the addition to your REO family. I am going to have dreams of a SL TRA with a Odin sitting on top of it and it's all your fault. Lol..... I am picturing myself carrying around 6 mods with me. The only ones I would leave at home would be any Woodvils. I would figure it out. Dedicate a REO to my favorite flavors. Yeah, that's the ticket... Congrats again

Thanks. Probablly all I'll take out normally will be a Mini 2.1 or Woodvil 18490, on my wee hours of the night walks and when I run errands. Usually not out all that long so don't need more than that. They've already replaced The Don, The Donkey and the VV3's that I was using for doing them. My other PV's are mostly homebodies... generally either bigger or heavier to carry.

Still a greenhorn compared to folks who have been vaping way longer than I have. I have 35 PV's now, all of them great examples of those within their same niche for vaping. But only the GP PAPS and Reos are being used these days. Nothing can replace my PAPS/Herons for tube PV's, especially my 5 PAPS X's... but already I don't see anything replacing the Reos either.
