It came. Didn't like it so much yesterday. Now I've got a Vector on top. I think it looks better. I quite like it now. If I can get the Greeks to make me a switch that is gun metal I'd be away. What do you think? Don't worry bout my feelings. Honesty is the best policy. :)

Here against my preferred (I think) kiss. Still busy but attractive none the less.
Feels real good in the hand though. Not sharp at all but you can feel all that engraving really well
Yeah, totally get that.
I wasn't so much upset yesterday. Just slightly disappointed.
£220 is a lot of dough but then I felt better when I looked at other authentic mods, regularly like £150

I think you're right bonskibon. It's just that I have really got into authentic pieces of late. Seems to give me more of a thrill because obviously you want your enjoyment to equate to the cost. Also machining and quality is better. In this case, although I can appreciate its a beautiful piece and I don't know what I was expecting...
I just imagined it would seem 'nicer?'

If it feels good in your hand, and performs well over the long term, it was a good investment. I understand the desire for authentic products. I only have a few clones, and if it were not for changing needs (as well as availability) I would have probably replaced them with authentic's.

My advice? Enjoy it!

I like it. I like the silver one too.

I can totally understand what you mean about expecting angels singing when you open the box for the first time, but I don't think you necessarily made a bad investment. Yes, you could have bought something shiny for cheap, but that wears off pretty fast. From your description, you bought a quality mod plus a work of metalsmithing art. If it feels good in your hand and works well, you are experiencing the extra value on top of the visual appeal from the catalogue.

Think of it as wearing fancy undies that nobody can see, but that make you feel extra special. Enjoy your new mod in good health. :toast:

That is a beautiful mech. Man a gun metal switch would really look sharp using that atty. What is it and is it custom engraved?
