Haha !!! Mine actually skyrocketed when I dropped back down to 3.7v (and the Protege) It was connected to my mouth 19 hours a day .... When I switched back to 5v on the new Prodigy V2 -- I don't vape as much (don't feel I need to really) but I still consume the same amount of juice!!! She has a healthy appetite, that's for sure!!!!

What do you think of the new and improved mechanical switch Jager?

It hits hard each and every single time. Not one misfire so far.

They are both the same switch more or less, but im not sure if the Protege has the same materials that the V2 has. Even if it did, the switch would allow any volt between 0 and 5 pass through. It restricts anything greater than 5V to 5V.

Problem with that theory though is that Cash tested the Prodigy under load and it went over 5v albeit slightly but still over.

My Chuck might get retired from high voltage vaping duties and strictly relegated to situations that require long term 3.7v vaping, courtesy of my 3000mah batteries for it.

I'm loving the .... out of my V2. 5ml's of juice vaped in 2 hours LOL.

8-o Holy crap are you serious? Thats crazy!:w00t:

This is correct ... All we are doing is adding resistance to the circuit, we are not using a voltage regulator. So, when vaping ... You will start out somewhere between 5.1 - 5.3v ... and over time, will drop to about 4.7/4.8v before its time for a recharge.

So you essentially stay in the 5v realm (4.7 - 5.3v) :)

Hey Angus,

Here's a pick of my Chuck 510 with the brass t-tip, V2 with the t-tip, and Protege with a 510.

The contact disks are different between the Protege and Prodigy. Protege one is made out of copper, where as the Prodigy one is not ... its made from a different material.

Meaning change the disk to copper and you will have a 6 / 3.7 device...

I see a few an accessories soon to be released...

Copper switch??
Copper disk??
short tube for a 16340??
16340 spacer??

can't wait...

We tried to cram it all in there :) The switch (lengthwise) is actually the same size as the protege! :) Spring on end cap - Same size as Protege. The Prodigy V2 shares MANY of the same things the Protege utilizes :)
