Are you going to help pays for that? You've been given evidence and reason enough to be wary of using the product by a reputable person. Whether you choose to ignore it or pursue the information further is entirely up to you.

1. Im not going to pay for anything because im not the one living in a cave wrapped in a tin-foil and peddling same crap over and over for months.

2. Your proof is equivalent to what i can write on a toilet paper while taking a dumb and playing Candy Crush.

Show us US based lab results or find a new hobby.

I really don't follow your reasoning, KGB7.

The company states that they are using fiberglass/ceramic in their coils and provide a lab report to prove it.

I don't want fiberglass/ceramic in my coils because:

http://srs.unm.edu/industrial-hygiene/media/docs/silica.pdf

Silica is generally considered to be potentially harmful when very small particles are inhaled deep into the lungs, where the macrophages are unable to remove the fragments which then become lodged in the alveolar lung tissue, causing miliary nodulation (classic silicosis) and scarring/fibrotic changes in both lungs.

Amorphous Silica: Multiple studies have found amorphous silica to be biologically inert when ingested and inhaled, with the exception of extruded fiberglass and ceramic fibers (which have been designated as carcinogens by the National Toxicology Program), which are hazardous due to their very small size and their high length to width aspect ratio. Because of this inertness, the US Food and Drug Administration permits the use of amorphous silica (not fiberglass or ceramic fibers!) in food and medicine.

Case closed.

Was working on a post but see it won't do any good. Katya, at least you tried. The return hostility wasn't warranted. Some prefer to remain ignorant. Great to see you again. :)

Calling people ignorant is not going to win you a Nobel Prize....ever!

Try again...with factual proof this time.

I haven't read every single post in this or the other BVC/Atlantis/fiberglass/ceramic paper coil controversy threads and I don't even use the coils myself but I have several friends who do.

Does anyone actually know how much it would cost for a sample to be analyzed in a US lab? While I know it SHOULDN'T have be a consumer's responsibility to do it, I, for one, would be willing to contribute to a "Go Fund Me" type of campaign to have it done by an independent lab.

Thoughts?

Not sure on the cost of something like this. Plus the test can be customized so the cost will be adjusted accordingly.
