I'm getting all geared up to work in it right now. But I'm pretty used to it as long as I can take very frequent breaks in the shade or a water dip, clothes and all, and have some cooling aids AND we've had a freaky mild "extreme summer." Few tripple digit days and extreme drought broken this year although it will take a few more years like this one for lakes to recover. BTW.... as Della so brilliantly stated, "Our seasons are Summer, Extreme Summer, Summer, and January."

The Chilly Towels work fantastic!!!!!!

I really do feel bad for those of you in climates where you don't normally have to deal with extreme heat. This years climate is going to kill a lot of people and pets.

It's hot here in KY too, but 104?? YIKES!! Be careful Debz!!

I spent my first 20 years in Ky, 30 miles east of Lulevul. Back then it was extraordinarily humid in summer. Almost every Easter, all dressed up in new clothes for Church, (corsages and white cloves) with temp rarely much above 70, we were drenched with sweat walking to unairconditioned car. Haven't been back much past 20 years but it did seem to be getting hotter back then.

Older sister fought her curly hair constantly during summer due to humidity. She was really shocked when she moved to Houston.
