PIF? Lol, You'll be very happy with your kayfun, Just get a syringe with a blunt tip needle to fill it instead of going the top fill method which I never got used to/liked at all.

As far as the dripper, your wicking is what holds the juice so if you have a good wick setup it should last you a while before you have to redrip. That also depends on the coil/s you have in there vaping all the juice away. The way I wick my coils, at .45 dual coils I get at least ten puffs at 12mg. I can take some burly hits to and it still lasts me.

Yep, someone is sending me their unused Kayfun 3.1 as a vapeversary "gift". Pretty awesome, huh?

10 puffs?? No, that wouldn't work for me. That's what I get from my dripper now, and it's a pain. Right now I have a 1.1 ohm coil on it and vape 6mg. Yes, I like the flavor a bit better than my rebuilt/rewicked coils in my Evods/Aro/Protank, but I'm something of a chain vaper and dripping really isn't doing it for me.

If you vape the way I do it's enough Lol, I don't mind dripping every so often especially when I get to look at my pretty builds haha. If you have a good juice well you can just take the tip off and drip however much you want straight into the cap. Different strokes for different folks tho I guess.

You'll be stoked with the Kfun!

ok got tired of dealing with tanks, and buying new heads for them. Soo I broke down and got myself a Igo-L RDA. Had my local B&M help me with building my 1st coil, got her rocking at 2.2 ohms at 11watts, blowing huge clouds, and heaps of yummy flavor. Have swore off tanks forever :)
anybody want to buy a Protank 3 plus a bunch of extra heads LOL

I've seen the light too :)

I have an assortment of clear-o's that I carry on a daily basis and no matter what, they all fail on me and leave me stranded. I've had it! I have a Magneto Mod with an IGo-W that I just built my first successful near sub-olm (1.1ohm) set up. It's a bit too hot right now, I'm gonna try more for 1.6 ohm next time. But from now on it's coming with me during the work day...

Is it just me, or is there no absolute advantage of a kayfun to a dripper, or vice versa?

Seems they are just suited to different uses:

-Dripper for tasting juice and changing flavors frequently

-Kayfun for when you're vaping a single juice for a long time

...of course drippers are better for low low resistance cause you can keep a better eye on things and they are less insulated (greater heat dissipation). And I suppose drippers are just easier to modify generally, cause there ain't nutin to em, really

am I missing something? the flavor and actual action is pretty much the same

I too have finally become a dripper. Couldn't deal with the inconvenience of it, but then I got an reo. I have never fully understood the kayfun hype though. Changing wicks was a pita having to empty the tank. Granted I do still have a dual coil build in one that I rarely use but was rather nice. People are probably going to hate me for this one but my all time favorite tank system was the EVOD. Built with a 30g vertical micro coming in at 2 ohms. Of course several heads so replacing was easy. And fired at about 13 watts with a dna 20. Now I just use my reo mini and rm2 @ 1.1 and everything else gets neglected. Though I'm sure I'm almost alone on my tank preferences I will say a good dripper is the best if you have yes patience to drip. If you don't just get an reo, or practice rebuilding your evods, they got a bad rep among rba people but I think that's just due to their difficulty to rebuild, their semi tight draw, or their lack of a dna20. Just my opinion though

Kayfuns are "hyped" cause they work well with no fuss and hold 5ml of juice. You just don't change the wick until you're tank is empty... they are for ADV, unless you have a bunch of them in which case you can just switch around.

Ya, don't get me wrong I liked my kayfun. But they were by no means perfect. I like to switch my cotton everyday regardless of my tank being empty or not , easier said than done. Though I will say they are one of the best tanks on the market, it still has it's pitfalls. But no tank can compare with the awesomeness of a decent dripper in my mind. Though I have never tried the dual bottom coil tanks, aqua, fogger v4 and the like. But you will never convince me that the kayfun is better than my evods if you build them right they are the best little tanks ever, I carried an arsenal of them at all times and when built just right they compete with any rta in terms of flavor and vape production , if you don't mind the tight draw. Of course all tanks are inferior to drippers .

I started with the typical ego battery and protank clearo stuff.
Couple weeks in I took the plunge and wound up with a couple mechs and drippers.
More recently I picked up a couple of Kayfun clones.

I still think a good dripper setup wins for flavor with most juices over a KF but not by much at all.

KF to me is all about ease of daily use.
The over all convenience wins out over the ever so slight difference in perceived flavor to me.
Using a mech with a KF while driving?
No problem!
Dripping while driving? You might as well be drunk and talking on the phone.
(I know Reonauts, I know )

Just ordered an IGO W.....too many folks in here and youtube rave about flavor from a dripper. I'd also like to play around with different coils etc. So....simple, basic, to start. Looking forward to it. The vendor is also drilling the air holes out to 1.6mm for free. (Found out on Rip Tripper's video)

It's very difficult going back to anything else :D I have to use tanks at work for practicality, but look forward to the first RDA vape back at home and it hits me like a brick in the face! Infinitely better.

An Atomic got me into it, which I still use pretty much every day. The smallish deck made the Patriot super easy to build on, it feels massive! Had a Magma on preorder for weeks, which I'm really looking forward to. A huge well (seriously deep and huge) and air holes right under the coil.
