I've gotten some new juice that's 50/50 PG/VG. I normally vape around 70/30 PG/VG. I made the switch only because my vendor only carries 3mg nic. in the 50/50 and I wanted to try the lower level before going to 0 nic. Enough background..now the question: my imagination or not, but it seems like I'm going through more juice with the 50/50. Also I notice a big change in the volume of vapor. Can such a slight change in the formula make such a noticeable difference? Stands to reason, more vapor, more juice. Or is this my imagination?

Higher vg, more juice used, bigger clouds, sometimes duller flavour, less throat hit but i think more fun - also with lower nic levels you sometimes end up using more nic than on higher pg because you are taking in more liquid with each pull - just to warn you.
Ok, I hadn't thought of that...you're right. Now another question: If I get a bottle of 6mg and a bottle of 0mg and mix together, I should get 3mg...Right?

Yes indeed!

With what Pjump said, it is likely you are vaping more since you lowered you're nic. You're trying to replace me of that lost nicotine.

It's possible too I guess that 50/50 juice provides a slightly lesser 'throat hit' than 70/30. You might be vaping more of it unconsciously to make up for the difference. I would certainly think the lower nic level has to with that too. I'm just shootin' in the dark here though, as the juice I vape is 50/50, and I've never vaped another ratio.

Exactly. Thats what I experience. The higher Vg, the more clouds and more nic buzz. I like 50/50 though, the flavor is superb! Also if your on a budget like myself, the juice lasts allot longer from my experience.

Also if you get a bottle of 100% PG 0 nic and 50/50 6mg nic and mix.. you will have 3mg nic at 75/25. Close to your 70/30. Of course assuming same bottle size.

Naw: there's not that many hours in the day. I'm a chain vaper like I was a chain smoker.

I will further prove my point by going into the science of it: Propylene glycol has a higher vapor pressure which means it is more volatile; converts from a liquid to gas phase more readily. This translates to a lower boiling point as well. Thus you should use more liquid with higher PG ratios if you're vaping the exact same as before. The only way to use more liquid with higher VG is you're vaping more. Or you're spilling more, or it's just in your head.
