I've bought from MBV and they have worked for me. I have purchased some favors that I did not care for, but overall I have liked what I purchased. I like that you can create your own flavor, I created one called sweet .... It has burnt marshmallow, gram cracker, caramel candy and brown sugar, I did not add any extra flavor shots and it is amazing. If you get a chance order one you will love it. Other flavors I love is thug juice, cinnamon roll, hawk sauce, butter pecan. The one I can't stand is dulce de leche, butter toffee. I have local shops in my town and was not happy with the flavor or price. Good luck in your search for something that works for you.

Looking at the Extreme Ice and the Menthol flavors from MBV. My go to liquids right now are Mystic and SubZero from Halo. I like the Mystic, but I LOVE the SubZero. Wondering which of the two MBV flavors are closer to SubZero. And if I do a 50/ 50 blend, do I want/ need to add the extra shot of flavor? Do I want a 50/ 50 blend, or should I go higher vg?

I am vaping out of a Kanger Evod kit, and everything at 6mg nic.

Thanks all!

I have a bottle of MBV Menthol (65/35 pg/vg, 12 mg nic, no flavor shots) it absolutely kicks my ....! It is wicked strong, so strong I can't vape it alone. I add a few drops of it to other juices to add menthol, in that way it is very good. So for me if regular menthol is that rough, I can only imagine what extreme ice is like. I sometimes wonder if MBV accidentally sent me a bottle of extreme ice...

I say all this as a 12 year menthol pack-a-day ex-smoker and of course taste is subjective so you could get a bottle and love it. My advice would be to try a 15ml bottle with no flavor shots and see how you like it.

One other thing about MBV, my first order was for three 30ml bottles and they sent a 15ml sample. I don't know what the minimum you need to buy to get a sample but when you enter your shipping info on your order there is a place to leave a comment/instructions. I commented that I'd like to try "Red, White and Blue" and that is what they sent me for a sample!

So far I've tried their Blueberry, Strawberry, Wild Cherry, Menthol and Red, White and Blue. Blueberry and Strawberry are awesome with a couple of extra flavor shots. Wild Cherry is ehh ok and Red, White and Blue is very good but clogs my protank coils so I only drip it!

If you like minty/menthol, then you will love Extreme Ice! I don't like just plain menthol, so I use it to mix with other juices. It's pretty "in your face" when it comes to flavor. I would say do at least 70%PG for max throat hit.

If you like menthol but also want to try other flavors, I would recommend Thug Juice. It's great for menthol and non-menthol lovers alike. It's a watermelon/grapey/menthol type mix and it's amazing.

Enjoy.

I feel the same way about MBV Menthol. Glad I'm not the only one!

I agree steeping makes a big difference. I got some cheesecake from MBV and it was pretty good at first but I had some I set aside in a small bottle and tried it after 2-3 weeks and it tasted much better and I loved it. As a matter of fact I just placed an order with MBV today and ordered 15ml of cheesecake again.

MBV has so many flavors, you're bound to find something that grabs you, as well as some that don't. And while steeping can be a pita, not all need to steeped a whole lot.

There are juices I like from many vendors, but I have most of my favorites at mbv, and not just because of the price.

I really like 80PG/20VG mix. It give me a decent throat hit and decent vapor, though it's not a HUGE cloud of vapor which I'm not that crazy about anyway. More VG will give a bigger cloud of vapor and tends to mute flavors more but I'm having some allergic reactions to something - not sure what yet and that's why I'm going to back off on the PG to see if it gets rid of the allergies. Otherwise, I'd be sticking with the 80pg/20vg mix.

One of my favorite flavors comes from MBV. It's their Mudslide. I love, love, love it. Have not tried it in higher vg yet. Am hoping it's going to be similar in taste though. I'll be a sad panda if it doesn't.

Am I correct in thinking, that 80 PV to 20 VG is a strong mix, decent throat hit and vapour?

Now, I haven’t been vaping long but the most frustrating thing I’ve found is that finding a good juice is like trying to find a good woman (or guy, whichever the case may be.). I have found a couple excellent juices from another vender that I really enjoy but require some serious steeping and they aggravate my wallet so they are for occasional vaping [High Maintenance]. Then there are the pre-mixed ones [the Quick and Easy] that are ready to party at the drop of the hat and usually more wallet friendly. I may enjoy them at first but grow tired of, and sometimes sick of, within a short time, although I do have a couple that are tolerable in a pinch but definitely not my go to juices. I’ve found MBV juices are ones that I enjoy, can afford to hang out with and which may turn into a long-term relationship. It may be partially due to the fact that they can be easy on the palette yet feisty at times, have no lingering effects and have enough variety to keep them exciting and, maybe, even take home to meet my friends and family.

Seriously though, if you need to steep a juice, that means it’s fresh versus pre-mixed that have steeped on shelves in a warehouse for who knows how long. You have versatility to select the PG/VG ratio and change the flavoring level if you choose. Also, if you have any questions, you can do a live chat on their website and the agents seem to know what they're talking about. Finally, there are the threads here on ECF where you can pose questions and get answers like you did here. Just keep in mind that taste is subjective and everyone has their opinion. Oh, if you spend $15 or more at MPV, they will include a free 15ml sample with your order.

Hope this helps...good luck and Vape On! :2c: :)

If you love Sub Zero, then you might have more luck starting a topic:

What is like Halo Sub Zero?

I agree you need to switch if the ratio or something is bothering you. Does subzero have tobacco taste in it or not? But intense menthol:

Vapor God Arctic Wolf * lots of people like this one!
Arctic Cowboy from the Plume Room
the "ice" juices from Mister E's liquid
Vaporcast Prothol
VaporBomb Arctic Ice
Ejuice Monkeys Menthol Ice
Vapors Etc Menthol extreme
Mountain Oaks Frostbite or the White Leaf Menthol (if you like a bit of tobacco underlying-excellent stuff!)(70/30)
Nicquid" Sinapse, Sinthol , Mintoid

So much good info there Racehorse. Love it. Subzero does not really have a tabacco taste to it. I dont think. It tastes like super strong cough medicine or something. Sounds gross, and when I tell people it tastes like that they look at me funny. But they all love it when they try it. And Subzero is described like a bunch of people have said the Extreme Ice and Menthol from MBV taste like. SUPER STRONG.

Thanks all for the many responses. Excited to order up a some new flavors and get to vaping!

Try a few and judge for yourself, that's the best advice you'll get ;)

As to your stomach problem, are you sure you're not getting sick? Too much Christmas maybe? :D

Too much christmas sure hasn't helped, thas for sure!!! We had a chili cook off, so.....I do wish that was all it was. It started about two weeks before christmas, and right when I started using a 100% pg liquid. I get by on Halo liquids, don't bother me too much. But am definitely happy to be ordering some stuff that has a little more vg in it.

Been reading various threads on this site since I switched to ecigs 8 months ago. But never posted before, so it looks like I am stuck in the newby forum. Just read a 19 page thread on the Mt. Baker Vapor juices and what everyone liked. Was really hoping to respond there, but......

So I have been a Halo juice guy since day 1. I like their menthol flavors a lot. Recently tried a juice from a local shop here in MN, it was a 100% pg juice, and it killed my stomache. Noticed since I switched back to the Halo liquid I have, it is also upsetting my stomache a bit. Somebody suggested Mt. Baker Vapor, as you can choose the pg/ vg ratio. It was suggested that I try a 50/ 50 blend.

Ok, thats the background story. If you cared! I want to try Mt Baker Vapor out myself. I have been told to add 2 to 3 flavor shots because the flavor is a little lacking . Let me recommend Innevape juiced to you which are 70vg/30pg. Everyone I know who has tried Innevape Juice, including myself, love it. Trust me . Another spot is Vapor Hut, I'm puffing on some wookie cookie now and I love it.

Candy Cane from MBV is my ADV. I spike it with about two drops of their straight menthol juice and its an amazingly cool but strong menthol hit. This is with 80/20 ratio. Unlike others, I don't steep my MBV stuff, I vape it straight out of the mailbox and its fine.
I seem to be in the minority in that I don't care for Halo juice. I've tried all their menthol because thats where I get my hardware, but I just didn't care for any of them.

If you order from MBV, get at least $15 worth (which is a lot at their prices) and you will always get a free 15ml sample. In the comment section tell them you want a sample of the straight menthol, and then you can spike whatever you get. Its so strong it literally only takes a drop or two added to whatever your vaping to get a really strong menthol blast. I've tried ordering make-your-own with Candy Cane and straight menthol, but the mixture never resembles what I get when I spike my own, so I just do it myself using the two flavors.
