Been reading various threads on this site since I switched to ecigs 8 months ago. But never posted before, so it looks like I am stuck in the newby forum. Just read a 19 page thread on the Mt. Baker Vapor juices and what everyone liked. Was really hoping to respond there, but......

So I have been a Halo juice guy since day 1. I like their menthol flavors a lot. Recently tried a juice from a local shop here in MN, it was a 100% pg juice, and it killed my stomache. Noticed since I switched back to the Halo liquid I have, it is also upsetting my stomache a bit. Somebody suggested Mt. Baker Vapor, as you can choose the pg/ vg ratio. It was suggested that I try a 50/ 50 blend.

Ok, thats the background story. If you cared! Looking at the Extreme Ice and the Menthol flavors from MBV. My go to liquids right now are Mystic and SubZero from Halo. I like the Mystic, but I LOVE the SubZero. Wondering which of the two MBV flavors are closer to SubZero. And if I do a 50/ 50 blend, do I want/ need to add the extra shot of flavor? Do I want a 50/ 50 blend, or should I go higher vg?

I am vaping out of a Kanger Evod kit, and everything at 6mg nic.

Thanks all!

I love the MBV Cinnamon Roll but have not been impressed with the other juices

I think you should try any number of vendors. I have tried over 20 vendors now and finally have found a few I really like, and a few that I'll continue to go back to periodically. I'm not an MBV fan, but I really like ECBlend and they have the same low price point. I think if you like one of these two vendors (or another like it), with a really wide selection and rock bottom prices, it allows you to build an inventory at a reasonable price.

Then you can go out to one of the "gourmet" juice makers and experiment with new vendors and samples, while having your core juices in your daily rotation.

MBV is my main go to vendor and its where I buy the bulk of my juice. But I will admit I do buy a few bottles a month from another vendor. I save those for my night time relaxation. Its kinda like sitting down and enjoying a fine cigar. But I have found no problems with any flavor I have tried with MBV.

But I have also tried several more expensive vendors and besides the glass bottles and the fancy frills they taste no better then MBV.

I will second what others have already said here; MBV Extreme Ice is the closest I have found in flavor to Halo Sub Zero after 5 months of searching. Halo comes in a glass bottle. Is that important to you? MBV lets you customize, and that can be very important! I smoked Salem Lights for decades and never gave a thought to switching up even one pack a month to see if there was a menthol I liked better. Now I make myself crazy sometimes with all of the choices out there. I want to try them all. lol What a wonderful world this vaping is! Good luck and enjoy!
