Some help please.

Okay i just recieved my kit today from Elite Vaporworks Home. I took a little longer than i expected, but its here.
Everything advertised is in the package and in good condition. USB charger, 2xBatteries, Shorty cones, 5xBoge 2.0 cartimizerz,24mg menthol juice and a Red Crown Royal style bag.

No Instruction Manual....

Took me almost an hour to figure out the 5 click turn on system. Im not sure which color, Red or Green, the charger should be... Or should it be blinking red and green like mine is? I wasnt sure how to fill up the cartimizer so i watched this video How I fill a 510 Boge cartomizer - YouTube.

Finally got it all connected and ready to go. Its smoking but it taste like burnt cotton. Like im smoking the .... of a cigarette. Whats the deal?

The guy in the YT filled it using the condom method from the TOP. You will have to wait until it gets down to the coils, otherwise you will get dry hits which is what it sounds like is happening. Most people using the condom method fill from the connection end. Watch and keep adding more eliquid until it looks slushy on top. You will also need to blow on the top end into a kleenex to get any liquid out of the air channel. If you have a syringe, you could put some liquid in the carto along the sides and all the way to the bottom to get some eliquid to the coils.

I got my KGO kit from Dark City Vapor....with excellent customer service. Waiting now for a second kit for a friend. He is expecting the E-Turbo atomizer in a week or so. I picked one up from Kalamazoo Vapor Shop this afternoon and I really like it. Drove an hour to check out their shop and pick up an extra battery for a friend. Will be ordering several from Dark City as soon as they are in stock again.

Well it was the cartimizer. Got a new one going but goodness this menthol juice is nasty. Taste like im smoking medicine. Whatever juice, i dont care how minty, was in the NJOY was a million times more pleasant than this. And the 36ml of menthol juice is what sold me. Maybe i need to shake it up.

Yup, always shake it up, hopefully that will help. Otherwise I'd expect some separation of the different liquids. Also, however it tastes now, it will probably change with a bit of steeping time, say a week or two. Best of luck! :)

Menthol is probably the most subjective and hard to pin down flavor there is. If you ask 100 people, you'll get 99 different answers. Seems like it's a lifetime quest to find that one menthol you like, so don't even take anyone elses' word for it. You just have to get as many small sizes as you can find and expect that it'll take dozens before you find one you really like. If it happens sooner, that's a bonus, but don't count on it.

The only menthol I have tried is from High Quality Electronic Cigarettes and you get 15 ml for 4.99. It was decent I thought, my friend who smokes menthol cigs didn't think it was too bad but wasn't as strong as her cheap smokes. Works for me when I want a puff of menthol though. Although I really love his spearmint lol.

It sounds as things are not going completely smooth for you. I just want to say to keep it up. My first few weeks with my ecig were not so hot. Stick with it, try different juices and dont be afraid to spend money. It will be well worth it once you get it all honed in. Now that Im settled I spend very little money. If you have a friendly shop near you like I have near me it will be easier to figure it all out. Im lucky to have a brick and mortar shop I can test flavors all day and get great advice.

Also, look for a local meetup group. If you can meet with some of your peers you can try what they have and get advice.

Either way I implore you to not give up on it. It will be more than worth it in the end!
