I have a J tank sitting on my bombshell from hot vapes. ( standard 510, 3000 mah, 3.7 volts ) Love it but one issue.

When I refill the tank, I end up drowning the carto. juice gets forced through both ends of the carto. and I wait until the tank is dry, or close to. should I wait until the carto starts to dry out before I refill? or is it just something I have to live with...

510 cartos usually need to sit for 30 minutes or so before using after you fill. It's normal to see some slushy look on the filler that soaks evenly into the carto in a few minutes. It's a good idea to blow through it before using to clear the air channel of juice. I'm thinking that is what is happening ... juice in the air channel.

On the Boge 510 cartos I use with my Ego, I add a couple of drops when I notice vapor drop off. That keeps the heater coil from scorching the filler.

I don't have a j-tank,so i'm not sure about this.On all my tanks,if I remove the topcap to fill, when I put the cap back on,it floods. The pressure from putting the cap on,pushes liquid out of the carto.I push the carto up thru the bottom just enough to get a syringe in and fill
'er up.Push the carto back in place, drip some in the carto and vape.Or take off the cap, fill the tank, put the cap on,but don't snap it in yet.
Turn the tank upside down and snap in the top cap.Instead of forcing liquid down, you're forcing air up.
