Review of the J108A Disposable E-cig, provided by madvapes.com

First and foremost...I did receive this for free. Hoogie is always gracious and sticks a little freebie in his orders. This in no way, shape, or form affects my review. In fact, I normally wouldn't do a review but I felt this little e-cig deserves it.

My normal e-cigs include:
510 Spade
801 Steam Punk
Versatile Chameleon
Versatile 5volt Homemade

This is no different than most mini's I've tried. I started with the M401 and I would say this is extremely similar in size.

It is an auto, exposed bridge, e-cig. The cartridge has a small inner cartridge for the e-juice, exactly like the M401.

Scale 1-5

  1. Battery Life - 4 : The battery life is par for this size e-cig, so I wasn't surprised with the short life.
  2. Flavor - 5: I was pleasantly surprised that the included carts were actually somewhat tasty. Also I tried some Key Lime Freeze and it was really nice!
  3. Throat Hit - 2: Out of the box there was almost no throat hit. I even tried different juice and it made no difference. Since then I have hollowed the cartridge so I may drip and this improved the throat hit considerably.
  4. Vapor - 5+ : I was blown away at the amount of vapor this thing produced. It produced more than any other ecig I've bought!
All in all, for $14 I will be buying me a few more. If nothing else, for a backup.

Now, the wait begins for the battery to die so I can mod it! :D

I bought a couple of these for backups and to check out. These are pretty cool being they have everything a noob (not me) needs to try vaping.

That said, I'll give my 2¢ on the product. And I got mine from MadVapes too, but I paid for mine. :)

The battery is an automatic 510 battery, it's a little longer than your regular 510. I haven't used it long enough to rate the longevity of it, but would love to hear from others who have. I understand that some can be used/recharged for a fairly long time. The MadVapes site state these are regular 510 batteries and chargers, so I assume they will last as long as any other 510 battery, and the charger could be used to charge "normal" 510s.

The atty is just like a l88b, the kind just like my Blu or Volcano. I don't have a 401 or any other exposed bridge atty, but I'm sure they are all the same.

The cartridge is also just like the Blu or Volcano, except it's a lot longer, but the resevoir and filler seems just a little smaller than what you find in Blu or Volcano. It's only good for maybe 3 drops of juice.

Vaping from the box, the carts have a decent vapor and flavor and hardly any throat hit. Drip a few drops of your juice of choice and it's pretty good. These would be perfect for dipping. The carts don't stay that well on the atty, so these wouldn't be very good for on the go, unless you pop on a carto, which would be the perfect use.

All in all, these would be the perfect solution for a sceptical noob to try ecigs. They are cheap, easy, and you trow in a box of cartos, you have an execelent starter kit.

I love Madvapes and am about to place another order with them. I'm confused though.....hubby will still only use the auto batteries and he likes to hold them in his mouth while he strums his guitar. I use the Ego, love it, am strictly a dripper. I didn't think one could drip with the auto batts? Am I confused? Is it just this particular one that can be used for dripping, or can the 901 auto also be used for dripping?

Thanks so much!
