yes, I like the look of it, but the pedant in me worries as I don't have much that's black and 22mm. I've heard some feedback about the top magnet in the battery door. Have you had any issues with that Bronze?
Yep. Both magnets came out. Put them back in. Never could get them back out to glue. But they've stayed put and haven't had a lick of trouble with it since. If yours ever comes out just make sure you replace them in with the correct polarity so they stick and don't repel. No biggie really.

I've been tempted to just glue mine in since day one, but I rarely remove the cover (so far). Yeah, yeah, I know about USB charging, but I'll use it until it carps out, then adjust.

Got glue on the ready! :vapor:

I can't remove mine to glue them even if I wanted to. You?

THAT, sir, is an EXCELLENT question. It's also one that I can't answer yet (haven't tried). I guess if they don't come out easily, I'd take it as a good sign.

If they get "funny" on me though, I'm attacking.

Both of my magnets came out at the same time, so I super glued them back in. Fixed, will not happen again. I don't believe that this issue will occur with every device sold, but it has in some. So, having had this experience would I buy another one? Yes, I would. Their a just so many features that I value in a mod, incorporated into this device.

I just found this thread. I bought one months ago based upon the comments of @Bronze for Mrs CMD. I have been sneaking puffs and bought another because I want to try TC. I got my 316L and I am ready. I am going to skim this thread and get my feet wet.

It is good to see so many familiar names from the Provari thread here.

Hi ECFers.

DPL and I are starting this thread, tho we would have preferred the honors go to @Jim-, who was the inspiration for our purchase.

Out of Scotland came Sean Connery, Gordon Ramsay, golf, kilts, Haggis, Glenfiddich (or “Livet”), and now, for our vaping pleasure, the absolutely sensational device known as the JAC Vapour Series-B DNA 75w has also landed into our eager hands.

Let’s discuss this most amazing piece of equipment! Feel free to share your experiences of it, and for those who do not yet own this mod, please jump in with questions.

Although this device has TC capability, and this thread is in the TC section of the Forum, it is not limited to TC vapers only.

Have fun!

(PS. We’ve heard all the “Jac” jokes. ;) )

Mine reminds me of a (more powerful) Mini Provari. You'll love yours. Same high quality manufacturing, attention to detail, reputable customer service, similar top-of-the-line chip, same smooth vape.

OK, I made my first TC coil for this JAC in an Erl built using @qorax video. I made a 0.60 Ohm (locked the Ohms) coil 316L SS. I set my watts at 7. I have a short ramp time set at 20 Watts. The temperature is set a 380 F. Opinions or thoughts?

I hope you mean 0.60 ohms! No need to lock the resistance on a DNA device.Did you slightly space the coil and what gauge wire are you using? 7 watts is too low, i set mine to 20 watts as the TC will limit the watts when you hit temperature.

At my advanced age it is highly possible that you did but in my infinite wisdom, I might have missed it. Or I could have been spouting my governing philosophy when I should have been paying attention.
My wife has been using hers for a while and likes it with the Erl. This was a good recommendation and money well spent.

OOOOps, I did mean 0.6 and will correct that. My wire is 28 gauge with a spaced coil. I will juice the Watts up some. Thanks.

I vape pretty much the same, spaced 28 ga 0.59 ohms at around 400 F. I have my preheat set to 25 watts and watts set to 20 watts.Unlock the resistance and make sure the coil is at room temperature before you screw it on the mod.

I went to 15 Watts and a 20 Watt preheat. The notice that the temp protection is on has appeared and the Wattage is seen to drop.

Temp protection is normal,it just means you have reached the temperature and the device is regulating it to set temperature. You can turn it off under the theme tab in escribe.Try slightly upping your temperature if you are not getting a good vape,to maybe 400 F.
