Somehow, I messed up my JAC display. I wanted it to show temperature on the right in large numbers so that it is adjustable with the up/down button. Watts are showing and they are adjustable. I have to go through too many steps to adjust the temp. It was fine but I did something and can't get it right.

In PBusardo's review of the JAC Vapour, he said it didn't have an inscribe firmware upgrade. You may need to contact JAC Vapour.
He may have gotten an earlier model.
When I hooked mine up (several months ago) escribe showed I needed a firmware upgrade, which it accepted.

I may not be understanding correctly, but I'll give it a shot... You adjust power in TC mode by clicking the fire button 5 times to lock the device, then press & hold the up/down button until it shows Watts. Then make any adjustments needed. To return back to Temp, just click the fire button 5 times again. Hope this helps you get it sorted...

Possibly you've switched profiles by accident, because that sounds like a power profile to me. Try holding the middle of the up and down button until you get the temp locked message. Then double click up or down to start scrolling through profiles.

The screen appears to be a power profile and the up down button will adjust power. The JAC is in TC mode because the "Temperature Protected" message will show frequently.

I have experienced a miracle. I got it all to work, how? I have no idea. I was messing with Esribe and uploaded a new profile and it worked, I quickly saved that as a new profile.
I have personally demonstrated, one more time, the horrors of using unskilled labor. I appreciate all of the input. I unknowingly messed it up and equally unknowingly fixed it.
