Temp protection is normal,it just means you have reached the temperature and the device is regulating it to set temperature. You can turn it off under the theme tab in escribe.Try slightly upping your temperature if you are not getting a good vape,to maybe 400 F.

I like it as is, I am a quasi-tootle-puffer. If I could come up with a one word description it would be: even. It is the same vape every time. I come from a mech world, REO's.

OK, I made my first TC coil for this JAC in an Erl built using @qorax video. I made a 0.60 Ohm (locked the Ohms) coil 316L SS. I set my watts at 7. I have a short ramp time set at 20 Watts. The temperature is set a 380 F. Opinions or thoughts?

OOOOps, I did mean 0.6 and will correct that. My wire is 28 gauge with a spaced coil. I will juice the Watts up some. Thanks.
Nice start CMD! Try adjusting your settings to your taste. 7 watts seems a bit low to me. I'd try it at 15 - 20 watts. The temp control will prevent you from blowing your face off while providing you quicker ramp up time vs 7 watts. 380 is a good place to start. Try going up and down and see what it does for you. No one else's settings matter to you. Your coil sounds spot on.

Opinions or thoughts?

Just one (thought).

"WHUT?" ;)

I went to 15 Watts and a 20 Watt preheat. The notice that the temp protection is on has appeared and the Wattage is seen to drop.

"WHUT?" ;)

Old and slow and not too bright (not age related).

I disagree.

I keed, I keed. I know this is a TC thread. I'm just playin'.

It always sounds like such fun to me. :D

Sorry. I'll stop now. I promise.

re magnets: what kind of glue have people in this thread used to secure them back in place? Is it more a dab of superglue, or do you reach for the hot glue gun?

I used enough super glue so that when I pushed the magnets into place excess glue oozed out around the edges. The extra glue cleans up with nail polish remover.

I just ordered a new setup for atop my Jac. I've long enjoyed squonking, but due to juice always finding it's way into the chip compartment and ruining the chip, I gave up on traditional squonking. Admittedly I haven't tried them all. But I have a Vapor Flask, Gyscano, Sunbox E7 & E8 and Reo VV and they all sit in my desk needing chips replaced (the Sunboxes have had chips replaced before). A couple of years ago I started using the Fountain v2 atomizer with a 4ml bottle built into the atomizer. No more juice inside my mods, I loved it. The only thing better would be to be able to use different RDAs on the external tank. Well this is it,

s, it's a much better quality product than the Fountain, holds about twice as much liquid, and allows the use of just about any 22-24mm BF atty. I chose a Vandy Vape Pulse 24mm to pair with it. I can't wait for the set to arrive I believe It's going to be super on my Jac.

mine arrived today, it's been a bumper crop of vape mail so far! and interestingly, the top magnet is already coming out of its enclosure. superglue advice couldn't have come at a better time.

was hoping that the sandstorm finish would pair nicely with the Pharaoh Mini RTA for example, but they are different tones. Sandstorm is definitely warmer. Maybe I'm way too OCD, but I like to have a nicely matching setup at all times.

I'm really pleased with my Sandstorm. No problem with the magnets (so far). Love the look and feel of it. The vaping experience is exceptional. :thumb:

One thing I found out... watch my fingers when putting the battery door back on! I've caught the meat of my fingers more than once. Wow what powerful magnets! :w00t:

So, is it an overly radical thought for me to add some super glue while the magnets are IN, in hopes of maybe keeping it from happening?

Hmm...
