I'm tempted to order a JAC dna mod, just haven't pulled the trigger. If Hcigar can put together one as good as the one i have, then the JAC will probably be better. The only small gripe I have about the Hcigar VT75 Nano is the battery cover, so I often charge it using USB because it's a pain to remove and replace. Anyone have both and care to offer an opinion for comparison?

Is the T22 topfill tank in the MTL kit worth the extra cash? I vape rebuildables and don't really want to get back into coil buying. Has the magnet falling out issue on the JAC been solved? I'm looking at the Series B DNA 75W Sandstorm kit. Is TC the only vape mode or does it do wattage, also?

I had one and got rid of it because of the battery door. Jac, so far is a breeze.

I posted and then edited to add some more questions. Has the magnet issue been solved? I had a SMOK 200W box mod with that problem and fixed it with some epoxy. They obviously had some glue issues at one time per the reviews.

How's the T22 top fill tank? Worth $9.99 for MTL vaping?

And last, what's the average ship time to the U.S. east coast (GA)? I've been reading the thread but ship time seemed to vary a lot. Shipping cost was the last question. I didn't really want to get that far in the order progression and have to back out.

I have no answer for you! Lol
Still waiting on my new one to get here. (1st one bought from here)
Don’t own the T22
My magnets feel fine, but I haven’t owned it long enough to have trouble yet. (Do have epoxy just in case)
:)

Backups are a necessity, never an extravagance! I should know. I got a backup Jac. Then I got a backup for my backup. Where does it end?

Cue Judith.

Dave, I've got a few of both mods. There are always (or seem to be) pros and cons to each set up. I adore the aesthetics of the Hcigar Fred Nano 75, but the battery door and I will NEVER be besties. Often I'll charge it USB, and other times I feel like testing my own internal stress point and at that time, I'll attempt the battery door removal.

I don't recommend it. But TIZ doable.

The JACKIES are sensational, in so many varied ways. Hand feel, vape, quality, blah blah blah,,,,,, HOWEVER, having said that, I am not convinced that the magnet issues are a thing of the past. I play with fate and I charge them by removing the battery. (sucker for the what if, I suppose) I've had my share of magnet removal/replacement/glue/silver sharpies, and to be honest, I really don't like it. But I adore the mod.

That helped none, didn't it.

My first Jac had the magnet pop out on one side. Super glued it back in. Still fine. My second bought after a redesign of the finish and doors has been fine.

Sad news for me today.
Customs returned my two Sandstorms, "restricted item".
FT ships batteries all the time through PostNL which is the Netherlands. Maybe Jac's can resend through them as they also cover the UK.

(sigh)

I hate them. :grr:

Legislators, that is, not JAC Vapour. "Power corrupts..."
No, if he order the 2 that they had for a special, it included batteries. Bet that is what was restricted. my 2 pennies.

Yeah - I figured that. But the logic fails me. They've arrived, are deemed "hazardous" to ship, so the answer is, ship them again (back)?

Idunno. It just all feels slimy to me. I admit to being possibly overly judgmental when it comes to (senseless?) regulations.

Lithium Batteries packed in accordance with Section II of packing instruction 965 or 968:
These packages are not allowed to be packed together with any regulated dangerous goods.
Also these batteries must not be placed in the same overpack with dangerous goods classified as explosives (other than the ones classified in Division 1.4S), flammable gases, flammable liquids, flammable solids or oxidizers.

Lithium batteries packed in accordance with packing instruction 968 are forbidden in DHL Time Definite Network.
Marking and labelling:
The Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods hazard label can still be used, as part of the transitional period, until the end of December 2018 for packages containing lithium batteries prepared in accordance with Section I, IA or IB of the lithium battery packing instructions.

Also the lithium battery handling label may be applied to packages containing lithium batteries prepared in accordance with Section IB or Section II of the lithium battery packing instructions, until the end of December 2018.

A wide variety of electronic goods powered by Lithium Batteries are affected by the regulations, regardless of whether they are rechargeable (Lithium Ion) or non-rechargeable (Lithium Metal). The regulations apply when:
  • Lithium Batteries are packed and shipped as individual items (loose/bulk). Example: Loose Batteries/Power bank
  • Lithium Batteries are packed separately but shipped with equipment in the same box. Example: A cell phone with a replaceable Lithium Battery
  • Lithium Batteries are contained or installed in equipment and therefore shipped in the same box. Example: A computer tablet with an integrated Lithium Battery within the device that cannot be removed or replaced by the user

All info helps to paint a mental picture! I learned to deal with the battery "screw plug" in the HCigar VT75 Nano. I change the cell here and there, but mostly I just USB charge it. Hcigar could learn a lot from Geek Vape. The battery door on the Aegis 100W is larger because it accommodates 26650 cells as well as 18650 and 20700 with insert sleeves. A partial turn in reverse and it aligns with a click and screws forward into the threads easy peasy.

FDA concerns are my reason (excuse) for new and shiny hardware! I'll order one in the next week. I just want to make sure I have it right before I pull the trigger.

From reading the package has to say batteries and then the code for the hazard law. This came from DHL, but it looks like all the shipping companies are doing it because of a new law/rule.

So, I'm better off ordering mod only and forgetting about adding batteries. That's fine. I like ordering batteries from RTDVapor and IMRBatteries, anyway.
