Hey everyone,
I've been vaping the Ego for a few months now and am beginning to have some troubles with getting it to perform properly. Since I've purchased the kit I've gotten two new replacement batteries and quite a few new atomizers. Problem is the vapor production has been really poor here lately.

I've tried cleaning the atties, cleaning the contact points... nothing seems to be working.

Thanks in advance!

I have one eGo (actually Tornado) batt where the center post is a bit short and I have to use the staple mod. It's a bit of a pain, but I know which batt it is so I'm careful when I unscrew it not to lose the staple. I have about 8 batts now of different mAh ratings and that was the only one. It's just shy of contact to where without the staple the current is carried over by the ejuice ;-) but the staple gives a good connection.

It could be a set of atty you have as well, since you've already replaced the batts..... if not that, I don't know of anyone else that has that type of problem - not that there isn't someone, I just hadn't heard that one.

Thanks PaulCincy,
Yeah, I think that the eGo may still be under warranty as I purchased it from Janty. I'll look into it...

Thanks!

When you say that the vapor production is "poor lately", does that mean that it was f=good at one point before.

If so, when was the last time you cleaned your atomizer?

I have some juice that seems to clog up an atty in about 3 days. I have other juice that doesn't seem to clog it ever.

Give you atty a good soak in some Voka, blow it out and let it dry in a warm place overnight. If that doesn't help than you can at least rule out the atomizer.

BTW - I'm so glad I switched to cartomizers and don't have all the hassles like this with carts and atty's. ;)

Have you tried different attys and have they all had poor vapor production?

That would be my suggestion, too. You mention having it for a few months. If those are the original atties, it may just be time for new ones. I try to get all the life out of mine that I can, but after a couple of months a new one can really bring a smile to my face.

My LR attys last between 7-10 days, of course I am a rabid vapor....Also, I buy them for between $3.00 and $4.00 a piece so price is great....I look at it this way,,,One pack of analogs cost me more then $4.00 a pack and last one day, if lucky...One LR atty at $4.00 lasts me at least a week....So I can't complain...Enjoy...
