Just got my Janty Stick V3 on Friday. This thing is working really well and I am for sure a Janty Fanatic since his shipments get to me in one day. I would like to get the ego now! :) Now, I have the Stick which I really like - and the Ego appear to use totally different carts and attys. Is that correct? Man on man... Another whole setup...

well you prob caught the rite time..if i waited one more week coulda saved 5 bucks..lol..all good..they dropped the price to 79.99 to match The Tornado..which comes with an extra atty..but doesnt have the same warranty period..eh..just have to wait and see which is the better option..

Also just noticed spare batts are now available(from TW) for 22.95 and a 5 pk for 79.99 along with charger adapters and cones..that sure didnt take long..lmao..:w00t:

Janty now offers the batteries and cones and charger. They also have the pouch too. But, the batteries are 24.95 and the cones are 8.99.
The USB charger cable is 7.99 which is cheaper than TW. I like the fact that TW has the Mega attys and carts, also have the adapter to charge the tornado with the reg charger which I haven't seen @ Janty. But one thing is you CANNOT charge the 510 batts on the eGo / Tornado USB charger cable, they will blow (explode) as per TW. I still like the platinum from TW and Janty offers white and Silver now too. Wish it was diff than Silver. I would of like Candy Apple Red Metalic. LOL (yup, like the car color) or even deep metalic blue. But Silver? Be cleaning more than vaping I would guess. hehehe

Uh-oh..I'm seeing custom colors, graphics and covers in my crystal ball...LOL...You Da' Man Stu..!!

Bump because...

The Janty eGo is the perfect PV for me. I started with the m401, it's a great little device I still have no quarrels with it. I am a dip/dripper, so carts were never an issue for me. I ordered the eGo about 2 weeks ago and there was a learning curve for dripping on the 510. First it was the nasty burnt taste when too dry that messed with my head. Then it was flooding. I finally hammered all the nails on that coffin and put it to rest. I'm pleased with performance of the 510 atty.

I'm growing to like the 510 more and more each day, but I really like the Janty eGo with a 401 atomizer adapter. This is the perfect pv for me. The eGo battery, 510 to 401 adapter, and 401 atomizer fit perfectly. The exposed atty is also in perfect position to drip on with the atomizer cover in place.

Anyways :thumbs::thumbs: from me.

Well, on my second day with the eGo, my first ever E-Cig. I like it a lot. After being a 2 packs a day Camel smoker for years now, it feels good to be off of them for 2 days now without a urge for one.

The eGo vapor seems real good to me, but what do I know? Not to thrilled with taste yet Janty RY4 or Camel juice, but not sure if it the juice, the Ego, or just my taste buds not adjusted yet, but I am not in a panick or anything, going to wait a while and see if teaste gets better. If not, I will try some other juices I have read about and go from there.

Nice not to have craved an analog for 2 days though.

I like the Tobacco TOB from Janty. It's not to sweet. I was smoking Marlbro's for 30 yrs and that one works for me. I can't wait to get the Ego.. I love my Janty Stick sitting here at the computer - it's perfect for that! I think I'll be set for a while with hardware once I have this one for on the go. Just leave the Stick at the home computer.. That's my plan anyway.

Hey guys, noob here and I want to say thanks for all of the info. I recieved my eGo this morning and started charging the batteries while at work. When I got home and fired it up and it tastes horrible with very little vapor. I have watched 2 videos on the eGo by Parked and Stubear 62. Batteries were charged, blew out atty, even tried dripping with an empty cart. I have read up on this stuff for the past three weeks but still dont seem to get it. Thoughts?

This may be a ridiculously noob question... but it is probably okay to use other juices in the ego? I'm asking because most of the janty carts and juices seem to be out of stock and I'm interested in trying some things from TastyVapor. Also- is there a good place to buy empty carts that will fit the ego? Janty is sold out of those as well... Thanks so much ^^

I damn sure hope you're right.I just ordered an EGo set, even though they are out of stock on extra dura attys and the one car charger they offer is also "not available" at this time. The car charger page fails to say whether the charger accepts the EGo batts so I have no idea if the out of stock charger will even be of any use with an EGo.
To say I'm rather frustrated would be a definite understatement.Janty badly needs a customer service phone #.

You can use any juice you like with the eGo!:D As well as 510 carts from any of the vendors. Just about every vendor sells the 510 carts!

Very few e-cig retailers provide phone numbers, and most that do, do so after you've placed an order. I suspect it's mostly because they'd be overrun with lots and lots and lots and lots of newbish-type questions that would tie up too much manpower.

Have you tried posting on the Janty subforum ( JantyUSA - E-Cigarette Forum ) or sending an email through Janty's website? In my experience, Janty is pretty good about monitoring its subforum and answering questions there.

So after using my Ego for a couple of weeks (I only use filled carts), I started getting just mostly a burned tasted with the vapor so I decided to try the Diet Coke suggestion here on the forum. I took a shot glass, poured some Diet Coke in it, threw the atty in it and let it set for 2 hours. Then I rinsed with water, dried it and let it air dry for a couple of hours. Ever since it won't burn correctly and all it taste even more burned than before. Anyone have any better suggestions?

Should I just throw it away and buy another atty? I tried through Janty, but I don't think they have any. Any suggestions where would be a good place to buy a generic 510 atty for the Ego? I heard Altsmoke by reading through here. Anyone know anywhere else?
Thanks

One of the benefits of buying a Janty product is the warranty . . . 3 months on batteries and 6 months on atomizers. (I have no idea whether a Coke bath would void the warranty.) I'd contact Janty and see if they'll exchange it.

Even with a warranty, I think it's a good idea to have a backup atomizer so that if you have a problem and have to send the warrantied part in for an exchange, you're not left out in the cold while you're waiting. Lots of places carry 510 atomizers. Make sure when you're comparing prices, you take into account shipping costs. For example, Rocky Mountain Vapor ships free for orders over $14.

As of 07:37 CST on Sunday, January 24, 2010, the available stock of Janty eGo kits are as follows:

5

I am not a Janty rep; merely a very satisfied customer who simply wanted to let those of you thinking about scoring one of these bad lads that, unless you order soon, you might have to wait a while until their inventory is replenished.

This has been a public service announcement from the Emergency Bammcasting System.
