I got my Janty Kissbox Classic yesterday on June 18th. My order was shipped from RuyanXpress on the 10th. The package really arrived three days ago but was stopped for a while by the customs.

After using the Janty Classic for half a day I am quite satisfied.

Here are my first impressions.
1) Vapor: There is a lot of vapor (More than the vapor I got from my njoy when it was new). I feel heat in my throat similar to when I am smoking a real cigarette.
2) Taste: I have only tried the chocolate cartridges so far and they have a really good taste.
3) Looks and feels: The Janty Classic looks good, is quite light and comfortable to hold.
4) USB: Tried using the USB yesterday and it worked perfectly!
5) Manual switch: The manual switch does not seem to work. I push the button an nothing happens. Nothing happens when I try to smoke using the manual switch. No vapor, no nothing! Maybe I am using it wrong?!

Overall I am very impressed. If I get the manual switch to work and the device won’t break down after only few weeks of use (something that seems to happen often with e-cigs) I will be a happy customer!

I also own an Njoy Cigar that I was very happy with until it stopped working (stopped producing enough smoke). I am waiting for a replacement.

Sorry to hear about the manual switch; the manual switches were the part I liked best. I'd say don't bother trying to get it to work, contact Janty and they'll send out a new one, or probably an all new set of switches.

How should I use the manual switch correctly? What is the difference? I am not sure how it is supposed to be better than regular "vaping" :)

Shogun,
I'm one of those who need E-cigs For Dummies so I think I understand why you might ask. BTW, TropicalBob says he's like that also but I don't believe him - he cooks his own eliquid!

Although my Kissbox turned out to be a lemon and crashed in the first 24 hrs. I did get a chance to play with the manual switch. The instructions say press it for 6 seconds. When I did that I heard a hissing noise. Then you can smoke it. I didn't like it at all. It limited the amount of time you could smoke the ecig.

Don't know if that helped but give me an E for effort, ok?

With either switch, the atomizer will vapourize the liquid at the same rate. When you use an automatic switch, you have to suck hard enough to activate the switch which usually means your draw will be faster. With a manual switch you can suck less firmly, get a slower draw so more liquid is atomized per mouthful which is how you end up with a greater volume of vapour.
Hope this helps,

Phil.

You know, you are not the first person to ask that, so it's a common question. But I just don't understand why people even have to ask. It's a button. You push it to start current to the atomizer. You let go of the button to stop.

It seems like a silly question but I had already tried to push and hold the button down but nothing happened. That is why I asked. :)

the press for six seconds is a safely health thing.. so is the auto cut off after so many seconds.. its "health" thing.. to stop "dummies" from overdosing.. and them of course being sued..

press for two seconds.. cook the fluid in the atomizer .. then suck for three or four seconds should produce nice smoke.. if it dosnt the switch isnt working..

We've removed the 6 seconds chip and now you push, it works as long as you push, BUT:read the manual pls on the website (when online at least, coz now we're having difficulties - will be up and running again by Sunday), if you push longer than 8 seconds you risk burning the atomizer, so you need to take care not to push too long and give the atomizer some rest in between puffs to cool down at bit.

Nothing happens even if I push and try to smoke! I sent you email to info[at]ruyanxpress.com. Do you get email when your website is down?

I got my Kissbox classic on Thursday (its now Sunday).I am overall impressed. When I first tried the manual switch it didn't work. The next night I tried it and it worked! I have found that any problems to do with the Kissbox are its cartridge.

I find that this e cig either produces a lot of vapour (very good) or very little (poor).Last night I took out a core and changed the ends, it worked great.Tonight i put in a new cartridge and from the get go it was average.I find that the Kissbox sometimes "gurgles" and you get great vapour but sometimes its only ok.

I would say overall it is well made except for the cheap plastic button on the end and the charging time is fantastic...where my old e cig took 3 hours the Janty charger takes 1.

Rating : 7/8 out of ten.

Lets see how things are in 6 months....

@shogun: Please send a mail to dispatch@jantyshop.com and put dispatch@ruyanxpress.com in cc and ask for replacement from latest batch (Although I think Harry has already sent out all replacement parts to all who had purchased from batch 1 or batch 2)

The last few days it has been very hectic at our dispatch you can imagine, so Harry might not respond to mails immediately. As for me I'm still struggling with the site and now hosting it on another server and doing some try outs... should be online in 10 hours from now or latest monday evening.

it's all PHP, which to me stands for "Personal Horror Publishing"

Update:
I have been using my Janty classic for 2 weeks now. Almost none stop.

The bad:

1) The manual switch never worked and
2) One of the batteries lasts for only about 30 to 1 hour before it needs recharging.
Janty has already sent me replacements so this is no real problem.

The good:
I love this product.
1) Chocolate and Tobacco cartridges are great! (still don't like the mint and after a few tries I really don't care for the heavy tobacco taste)
2) The classic gives a lot of vapor.
3) The cartridges seem to last forever. Over two days. Still I am using the regular ones and not the HD. For some reason the cartridges seem to last much longer than the cartridges from NJOY (not to mention they are way cheeper).
4) I feel the nicotine hit almost every time I smoke and a good feel at the back of my throat.
5) I have just smoked about 5 regular cigarettes the last two weeks. (Twice because I ran out of battery charge. The other times because I just wanted to TRY regular cigarettes again.)
6) I find using Janty (and Njoy for that matter) much better than smoking a real cigarette.
7) Their customer service is excellent. That matters a lot with a product that is likely to break!

So I am very happy with this product so far. I just REALLY hope my e-cig will not break any time soon.

The ugly:
Although I like the general look and feel of my titanium Janty it is not perfect in design. After assembling the battery, switch and atomizer together it does not look straight. It kind of bends like it does not fit completley. Anyone else know what I mean?
The cheapest looking part is the plastic at the end of the battery. It has actually fallen of my bad battery a couple of times!

Summary:
Love the taste, vapor and feel. If it will last for more than a few weeks I am very, very, very happy!

Hope this review helps someone :)

I know what you mean. I know it bugs me too. I find myself trying to straighten it.

I have another automatic switch being sent to me. The manual switch seems to work fine but the automatic will not heat up the atomizer.
