Maybe I'm comparing everything to the 901 now. I really love the 901. Are all penstyles like the KB or are 801s different?

I don't think I'll really ever like the KB. I have to hold the button, do a prime inhale, inhale again, and then maybe even one more inhale just to get a good hit. I swear it's like a toke. And, don't get me wrong-- I used to enjoy that, too-- but that's not what I'm looking for in my e-cig!

When you have a fully-operational Kissbox, it is a true pleasure to vape. I was confused about the manual switch when I first received my KB, but it is my mainstay e-cig at home. It is hooked up to my USB port 96% of the time.

The great thing about the manual switch is there is no automatic cutoff. You can burn the atomizer until it is hot to your hands. Yes, you always need an index finger or thumb free to start it up, but the hits are great and the fog is better.

For those not getting a good throat hit on any device, try a direct inhale. After vaping for a period of time, your mouth and throat get used to the vapor. A direct inhale for 6+ seconds can only be accomplished properly with a manual switch. Go until you are ready to cough. Then you have had as good a hit as you can get off your device.

Kendra I also have a KB from the same person you bought yours from. The atomizers were pretty much cooked. Get a new atomizer and you will fall in love your KB. Just my thoughts from lurking around your posts on the KB.

Thanks, I will. I figured it was working, but I will order one from either Janty or dietsmokes. Thanks for looking at my past posts and figuring it out. I appreciate it!

AHA- After reading these posts I finally understand why, IMO, my Dura-C seems to be blowing the competition away- the manual switch. I love mine but I also ordered some Auto batt's so I can put them in my PCC. Once I get them I'll test to see if there is any difference.

I'm having issues with my 901 not being able to get a throat hit at all (posted on the forums already) but I think it has to do with technique for the 901 or maybe a break in period. Dunno, I'll keep ya'll informed :)

HI. Contact Lubo here. He will help. From what I've been reading, Jeff from the USA site, is having some difficulty keeping up.

Also, someone else jus tmentioned the 801 atomizer will work on the Janty KB. So, I'm going to try that first, since it's so much less expensive. Someone else told me that was wrong, though. But, I'm going to believe that it DOES fit. If anyone knows for sure, could you post?

Contact Janty at info@jantyusa.com

When you get a good KB atomizer, the device is great. Most pen-style atomizers will work in place of the KB atomizer. I have used pen-style atomizers from Puresmoker and VaporGuys (304 model) with great sucess.

Now that is quite interesting info. Over here the "generic" atomizers are much cheaper than the KB ones. I will give it a go, thanks.

Great - I was reading this thread.... and found out my Janty KB switch and battery fits a cigarette I just boroughed. My Janty KB atomizer just dropped dead this morning and I was in a total panic. Tried to clean it, even if it looked clean. It is only one week old. I hope not is is the "normal" lifespan for an janty atomizer?

thanks for the tip (now I can use the manual switch) *hehe

The 901 - what brand is that? I am NEW in the e-cig world and a little confused when you guys talk about all these "number" models

901 is only a designation of a model number manufactured by several companies. It is smaller than a pen-style, so I guess it might also be called a mini. Check out this link for more specific information about models...E-Cigarette Models

The generic 801 atomizers that DietSmokes sells will fit the Janty Kissbox switches-I have a switch, battery, but no charger for the Kissbox and they all fit together on my 801s just fine...

Most of the sites you go to buy supplies will refer to the 901 as the DSE901 or the Mini. It's a little longer than an analog, about the same circumference, and usually has a cigarello tip.

Okay. . . I charged up my battery for much longer and tried it again. Oh wow, what a difference. It is MAGICALLY working now. I don't understand how that happened, but it definitely is working much differently than it did yesterday. Now I actually like it a lot. This evening it was my cig of choice. Thanks for the advice-- I was ready to put it away for good!

the Kissbox is a great ecig and you need to know a few things like charging the batteries properly and feed it plenty of juice and clean the manual switch and the atomizer to switch connection.I have found that mine works best when it is wet almost to the point of flooding.I turn it 180 degrees when I'm vaping.I blow it out about once a day. been on the same atomizer for 58 days and it is never worked better.I don't know if I just got lucky but everything works great. My batteries work for a good 8 hours.I did charge them for 20 hours the first time then I used them for 20 min then charged them for another 6 hours.I recharge them for at least 8 hours.I don't even use my passthru. My kissbox has been blowing away analogs at work I go up against analogs smokers at work (God it fun) and my kissbox makes almost twice as much vapor to there smoke.I do add prue VG to my juice about 10%.I just got the Boss to break down and Now he is gonna get a kissbox.I would put the Kissbox up against any e-cig

So, can I buy the manual switch and use it with my generic/standard 801 battery and atomizer?

I use both the Kissbox and 801 and my experience is:

1. You can use the 801 battery on the KB atomizer *without* the KB switch in place.
2. You can charge the KB battery in the 801 charger *with* the switch in place, but only the auto switch. With the manual switch, the button prevents the switch from being fully screwed into the charger.
3. You can use the KB battery on the 801 atomizer *with* the switch in place.

I have purchased 801 attys from Totally wicked and these work like a champ on the KB... sometimes they take a day to reach potential, but they have been durable and reliable
