Janty PPC, my batteries dont fit in it?? is it only for automatic batteries??

Hi everyone, so hooked up my janty ppc today to the computer to charge it up, tried to place a battery in it to charge with it.. UHHHHHHH, they wont fit.. soooooo I was under the assumption that they would charge either battery???

Also received David Yangs flavors, a usb pass through, I think thats what it is, and received 4 what I thought were the led automatics.. but each one has the little button you push in on them, so I am assuming these are led manuals for the janty dura c..

MMMMMMN, anyone charge manuals with their pcc's?? looks like I will have to order more batteries, that are just led automatics for the janty, unless someone tells me I am just doing it wrong.

I haven't ordered one yet but I was doing a little research on the pcc last night. You can find a couple video reviews on youtube. They may help you figure out how it is supposed to work. That's a bummer if it doesn't work with the batteries you bought but on the plus side, manual supposedly work better...

Parked review looked like he was using an automatic and he was making a point of how it just kind of drops into it. Sound quality is terrible but here's a link Parked's Review of Janty Cigarette Case

Unfortunately, it sounds like you got the older automatic PCC. You can do as the video that DW posted instructs you to do or else you'd have to get a newer manual pcc. Either way, good luck.

Well that just plain... licks dirt off my shoes.. !!!!! you mean someone is not going to send me an updated PPc.. or pcc.. ?? but an older version, and yet I ordered the whole janty pcc thing from the same person I ordered all the janty dura C.. manual stuff from.. good grief.....

I dunno, maybe you can sell it in the "Classified and Swaps" subforum to someone who still uses auto batteries. I know The Widow has the manual version as i just got one from her. No shipping fees and she's lightning fast.

Thanks, DW. I didn't even realize there was an older model and they weren't compatible. Shows how much I researched this!

Golden, I've also seen people post how good Jeff w/ Janty is with returns. You may want to just try contacting him about returning the batts or the pcc itself.

The newer ones have a grove in the battery opening to line up with the button on the battery. Its hard to see but look at the opening and if it is round with no slot then it is the old style.

My PCC has no groove but my Dura C batteries fit fine. JoyE510 batteries do not fit however.
