I recently go some Johnson Creek Original and Expresso from Chis at VAPURE. I had gotten a mislabeled bottle or the Original and he was so kind as to send me full 15ml bottles of both Org and Expresso in 18mg to compare. He also sent sample sizes of Strawberry and Mint Chocolate .

I use a Protege with a 901 atty.

I do like both Org and Expresso quite a lot. The Org has a dark, slightly sweet taste that to me is within the general flavor tone of smoked tobacco. I do taste an undertone of coffee though. Perhaps my tobacco twisted taste buds. Vapor is decent but not great and the throat hit is good.

The Expresso has a nice coffee taste. Nice and rich and more than a bit like freeze dried coffee smells. Overall a nice morning vape with a cuppa joe.
Like the Org, decent vapor and throat hit.

One thing I have noticed with JC juices that I have tried: after just a few drops dripped or from a filled cart, the draw of the 901 becomes very hard. It is the heavy milkshake from a small straw-suck your cheeks out kind of draw. I have to blow the atty out and reprime with another juice to get an easier pull.

The juice does not look any thicker in the bottle than other stuff that I vape like 555 and Special Blend from Puresmoker.

Anyone else have this issue with Johnson Creek juice?

Just my opinion....
I'm not sure thicker is the problem. It may be thinner. 901's flood very easily, flooding makes them hard to draw. Blowing it out makes it easier to draw again.

Don't drip too much at once or let the liquid pool on top of the filler when you top off a cart. Also, a drop or two of VG in the juice will make it thicker and produce more vapor.

I also use the Protege, 901 and have been using JC juice for a short time. I don't seem to have any more problems with it than any other juice. No matter which juice I use I only get a week or two before the draw becomes too hard. I then switch to another atty.

While I think 901's have the best flavor, I think they have the shortest usable life span.
But like I said, that's just my opinion.

PS - I think the 4075's that PureSmoker also carries don't flood quite as easily.

Thanks for the response. I have a couple of 4075's coming from PureSmoker so I will see how they behave. I have been on this atty for just over 2 weeks and it is getting weaker. I have a spare, but want to wait until the 4075 gets here so I don't have to rotate them.

I prefer to use one until it is done and then start fresh. It is the gradual decline that makes me try to extend the usage for a bit.

On my 510 as well though I noticed the slower draw with the JC. I have cut them about 20% with VG and it does produce more vapor but the draw follows the same pattern.

I am just finishing up my bottle of JC and found that it is very think (is that the word for it) not like a heavy oil. so yes it will flood the 901 easy. i have learned how to fill and plug. but the vapor is very little but full of taste and nicotine. i use 26mg. if i'm not vaping for awhile, i keep it mouthpiece side down to reduce leaking.
