Seems that a few of the noobs are buying the eGo/Tornado as their first VP. Good for them and great decision !!!

Am I jealous? U bet! But I'll get over it.

Still waiting to get enough bucks together to buy it ... juice is more important!

I thought maybe if I had waited until now to start vaping (instead of last September) I would have went with the eGo instead.

Bad idea! If I had waited until now to start vaping I would most likely be dead today from sucking on those smelly, life threatening, cancer causing, over priced analogs.

4+ months without analogs. One of the few best decisions I have ever made in my life!

For all you noobs, stick with it!

Vape On!

I've been almost 10 months smoke free. I read quite a bit here, but the mods just weren't available when I bought my first pv's. We just kept putting aside the extra money we weren't spending on analogs. We moved up to the Janty Stick v2 first and just last week started using the Silver Bullet. Jealous? No not really I think I'd much rather be coming up on a year of smoke free. I've learned a lot and can tell people some of the differences between using a stock pv and a good battery mod. I hand out cards all the time.

Yeah, I hear you Wolf. I am not jealous, just wish I hadn't been over zealous in my spending when I first started.

Thought I would see what kind of response the subject line would generate but obviously, as you can see, not much.

Thanks for the response.

Now back to making my juices for the next week ...

Jealous? Me? I suppose so. It would have been nice to have an eGO the 1st week I had my 510. Swapping batteries wasn't fun. Then I received my passthru which made home vaping all the better. Then I dropped a battery and killed it. No amount of slamming it would bring it back. Perfect time to build my 1st battery mod. And so it began...

Now I have 5 custom 3.7V mods and STILL ponder getting an eGO... lol

Eh.. Maybe I'll just build a 5v mod and order $80 worth of attys.

While the eGo looks good, the cost of replacing batteries over time is going to be a very irritating.

While most mod PVs run really nice out of the box (for about 2 weeks) I would love to see the thread that's going to develop in about 1-2 months concerning eGo battery life problems.

As the eGo batteries are proprietary and priced at least at $22-258-o supplier choice will probably be limited. The 510 atty has a higher current draw than other popular atomizers and so will exhaust batteries earlier than expected.

Enjoy your new toys while they last but be prepared to shell out big time for replacement batteries. Just sayin'.I am NOT jealous.

I guess your points are valid. But would it not be reasonable to assume that since the eGo is now OEM (Tornado - TW) that the price on the consumables for it should eventually drop in price?

Double post !
Soon to be knocked off by the Chinese !

Wait... isn't that backwards? I didn't know the e-cig was an American invention. :p

And yes, I am jealous as hell that my buddy in Thailand will be buying his first PV from Duracig... the eGo. At least there is small chance of him complaining that it can't keep up with his nicotine habit! :)

Well I am glad to see that this thread is generating a bit of action.
No doubt about it, seems to be a good vp. Can hardly wait!

Can't be jealous of a 3.7v device... Don't even use my cartos at 3.7 anymore bc they're so much better at 5/6v...

Disagree with the first part (510 attie @ 3.7v rocks my world).

Totally agree with the second part though (Cartos only do it for me @ 5v).

As for the n00bz getting the new tech...well, there is always some great new invention/leap forward around the corner...we are on the bleeding edge of a very new industry. :)

When all is said and done, how can we be jealous of the noobz. A great deal of them still want their pv to look like a cigarette or be about that size. They haven't learned how fast or easily the cute little batteries are going to die. They haven't learned how to fill carts or drip properly and avoid killing their attys. Just my $.02.
