Ok so.. after reading tons and tons and tons of threads, websites and other various information on E-cigs I went with a good ol' DSE901 from electronicstix(spelling?) for my first e-cig. Here's my review...
It came in a small USPS marked box and inside the box was a bag containing all the other little boxes. They had sent me two atomizers as a bonus with my order, so I was quite pleased as that's what I was looking for, a kit with TWO fully working e-cigs.
The information sheet it came with stated that the batteries no longer come pre-charged, so I was a little bummed and plugged in the battery. To my surprise, it was solid-green in about 10 minutes! So I hooked everything up and started vaping.
This being my first e-cig, I didn't know what to expect. The first drag and taste I got was interesting. The taste reminded me of "fog-juice" that you use in fog-machines. I got some decent throat hits, and I've cut down on the amount of analog cigarettes I would have smoked by now by a far amount.
I know all about refilling and dripping and know I'll get better hits, so I wasn't worried when the hits got a little weak. I'll just have to wait until rent/utilities is paid before I can order some juice!
Today (Monday 4-20-09) I brought my cig to work along with a fresh "high" cart. I've been trying to avoid the boss because I'm sure he won't understand and dismiss the idea of some new confangled smoking contraption at his place of business... but I've been showing some fellow employees and they are very interested!
Anyways, all in all I am pleased with the 901. I think it's what I'm looking for right now. I do have two packs of "Health-e" super minis coming soon, I know I wasted my money on those but I was misinformed then. I want to extend my thanks to everyone here at ECF.com because if it wasn't for you all putting up with my annoying threads I would have never got the information I needed to be a well informed e-smoker! Thanks again!
